  1. swing by, i have extras you can borrow for reference
  2. no excuses nick, i told u we can fix it. you need to go...cuz i cant
  3. all of SJRs kits, and anybody else who makes em pretty much accounts for camber correction. steering does not need to be modified for a 2" lift. now go read some old threads and catch up
  4. one is to send, one is for return (because fuel pressure regulator) and some have one for the charcoal canister (if so equipped)
  5. nice unicorn. youve done well saving it. welcome
  6. move to pierce county, lots of jobs and good wheeling here. and a good southern base to head up to walker
  7. tdo4 "pull-offs" can be had cheap, ive swapped one on this exact yeaqr and model. lotsa folks take em off so they can get more ricey with their rigs. bummer the engine is toast
  8. I attempted it on an ea81 in an ea81 car w a ea82t rad. pulleys didna line up. do you swap the harmonic balancer too? i didnt try that way
  9. If youre looking at the engine from the front one is to the left (passenger) of the harmonic balancer. one is under the water pump. the remaining (rear) two are behind your flywheel. im thinking it would work the other way around or with some awkward configuration of parts I didnt try yet.
  10. no, but you can remove the 4 14mm allen plugs to get at the wrist pins without splitting the block. crank wont come out without splitting the case.
  11. sounds to me like tired cv axles, or tires out of balance
  12. ive run several ea82s to 7200 rpm shifts......itll do it. for awhile
  13. the whole motor youre trying to install would be good to photograph. if you have dual intake ports on your head an spfi intake wont work. youll need the mpfi "spider" intake
  14. use the disty and intake from your old motor....just use the new longblock basically. either that or find some that go with the car you are putting it in and use those...use the ecu that matches the above
  15. o really!? gimme a call hombre, havent heard from ya in a while
  16. other than experimental engines the ea82 never came with flat belts. the er27 (a ea82 and a half) did have flat belts im pretty sure
  17. not to be confused with regular soob wagon wheels, which are curved and dont have a "j" on them
  18. i had a rear WB fail at 70+ on my lifted rig, i destroyed my caliper beyond safety, melted the trailing arm and wrecked the rotor. I guess your results may vary
  19. your caliper kept it the wheel from coming off. itll need replaced, as well as that rotor....ask me how i know
  20. Does google not work on your computer? the guy is from spokane WA and mentions several businesses that, if googled come up as WA. try thinking on your own next time. Wish I could make it, maybe next year. sounds fun!
  21. I tried this on my hatch yesterday, the snout was too long and the pulleys didnt line up . I ended up using Gates hose # 21029 and installed my ea82t radiator on my hatch...after I re did the wp lol /hijack
  22. The radiator finally gave me the old heave ho yesterday. No overheat, I was close to home. I tried pinching the offending rad tube but it was too deteriorated at the tank. Solution: dual row ea82t radiator. "but those dont fit". im sure im not the first. I used a gates number 21029 and cut it down a little. swapped over the fan connectors, as the gen2 fan didnt fit, and the cts. this was also a good excuse to delete the ac unit, so i did. word to the wise, while you might think its a good idea to put a ea82 water pump on your ea81 to utilize the pipe and therefore the ea82 rad.....dont. the snout is too long and doesnt work.....that cost me an extra 1.62 and some rtv to learn (testfit??). yay, no more leaky radiator, i may take it down the street to a radiator shop (yes they still exist) and have it repaired. I shall post picks after use something other than bailing wire to hold it in. cheers, RV
