  1. iirc, i used a 1/4" 6 in 1 tool (nut driver). its just like a phillips bit, only it works for soob stubs. i usually take lunch around noon til one.
  2. i work 8-5 but you could also meet me im T town on my lunch break if its urgent. if not ill hit you up when i get off work.
  3. fyi, you can have your lifters rebuilt through mizpah for around $40 for a complete set
  4. i have an E10 bit. i also have a pulley for ya.
  5. its a really tight threadpitch in there, not an easy find. we had a problem like this with a car my buddy had this summer, it had two bad holes back there, we got a bolt into one of them, but left the other empty. it worked, but doing it right is most likely a better idea tho. be careful when doing that rear main as well, mine was easy, but people are afraid of them for some reason. Good luck, RV
  6. quick answer, youre wrong. cmon man, dont be so callous. If you dont know, assume you are wrong and then find out by asking an expert. then, and ONLY then, act like you know what youre talking about. Gee, i wonder who came up with retorque requirements...... (OEM) youre gonna screw up somebodys car with an attitude like that. at least look it up, you are looking at the internet right? To the OP.... re torque those heads and MAYBE youll be ok. dont torque them again and you are almost certain to fail. the EA82 is the ONLY subaru motor you can use permatorques on without retorque. much luck RV
  7. i will say ive yet to own a drivable ej car, and my rebuilt ea82 is spunky for what it is. im happy with it, all the usual stuff...
  8. lots of people have put 2.5s in ea82s. look up xbeerd wanna know why lots of people have done it? because its cheaper than building an ea82 that would even come close to competing with it. fair enough? no bans necessary. no argument necessary. its the law of advanced platforms.
  9. if i was gonna drop 3k on a ea82, id save up another G and get the ej:Flame:

  12. oh ya, we had also removed the core support for another project so that was kinda easier than going straight up/out i think
  13. when i pulled mine i had a hard time too. i was planning on using it for a swap as well so i removed the motor with the tc/flexplate on. then i cut up the flexplate and took that byatch off:grin:
  14. youll see photos... probably gonna actually do a thread on it. ive had it for years and been modding/lifting it quietly. i may finally be proud enough of CrapWagon to make the rest of you deal with accepting its existence. can you say 146000 miles and on motor #4 (#2 rebuilt by me) stay tuned. its gonna be a book:rolleyes:
  15. sorry about your rig Jeszek, i hope that sweet rim is ok. in other news, i acquired my 4" lift for my loyale today:clap:
  16. now if only the gl10 had 24" suspension travel....
