those are really really really expensive. aviation guys dont blink at 15-20k for a motor. RAM engines makes that stuff. hella dough, and worth every penny ill bet. whatcha gonna do when ya break it though? (think, '' i didna think it was that deep") lol.....

welcome to the board! and lets see some pics........we have assumed control........ -
you should put your spfi pistons in that ea81 block, i read that helps compression. also i would caveman machine those heads and get rid of the fire ring mark, they should be perfectly flat. GD has a thread on diy head resurfacing, my ea82 is loving it.

pulled my motor, pulled my fresh rebuild out of my buddys 88 wag (he blew up 1st gear, anybody got a dr5mt for sale?) and dropped it in Crapwagon. result: stayed up til 4am so the rtv dried and i could drive it for a minute, went wheeling sunday, kept up with a cj all day. nothing too crazy, but it was legit. the only other vehicle that we saw was a quad, who was asking the jeep guys how many times they had to tow us (me, two buddys and my 3 year old), to which they replied, "zero, they made it all the way" by the end of the day both jeep guys were giving me mad props. way to go! not bad for a single range with open diffs.

run a search, theres a bunch of good threads on it. if the search function here on usmb isnt good enough ( it hates me ) try using google and add usmb into the search field, itll hook ya up. -
well it doesnt sound as beefy now, i want it to pass emissions so we can take it to Oregon this weekend. Wifey broke the clutch cable yesterday which is ok since it didnt happen on the highway, so i got to leave work early and go play soob limbo on the second of her cars (whitey did it too). then, after i got done with that, Ellis came over.........without first gear in his 88. which is once again parked at my place waiting on repairs. but hey whats another one? (3 to fix atm)

i read in the ''you know youre a soob owner if'' thread, which i would quote if i wasnt on my phone, that screeming at the screen, '' no its not!!'' makes you a soob owner. i will re concede Shawn's point is 100% correct. it was silly, it is that guys um, scion. still a cool ride, kinda like the holden commedore/gto -
text me tomorrow, ill give ya my address. im not by river road, im near 512. 253 tree oh juan seben fo oh too

i agree too. and it was silly. i did it for comedic value, i didnt chase him down the road or anything. nor do i hold scion owners responsible for what the company itself claims ("worlds first boxer"....blah blah blah). lots of designers make the rounds to several companies during their respective careers, why do ya think everything looked like a ford taurus/ honda civic for so long. i think a little ribbing is needed in the world, keeps us humble. -
you bought a dr 5speed from me, im over by 112th and waller rd remember?
-
ya parking/corner lights. y'know, the ones that should be turn signals but arent. also the tail lights and dash lights are also on whenever the key is. ive left parking lots in the dark w/o headlights on a couple times now because of it. perhaps ill replace the switch. Thanx for the reply Tom(s)

yesterday i scored some yardsale gems. compressor (3/4hp 10gal), 1/2'' impact, 50' hose for $50. shopvac, benchgrinder $25. also got lights that work w my craftsman batteries. now working and cleaning this, and the rest of the fleet that comes here for repairs much easier. passenger seat is no longer loose lol. oh, and does anybody know why my running lights operate via the key? ps....for you Maiden fans, this is my post count of the beast.

dude, cordless angle grinder would own. rx grill would look good on silver/warthog/whatever we're calling it. ill ask my buddies if they saw any ea81s in olympia last weekend. does it have to be a wagon or will any 4door work?
-
the ob seats are gonna be tight, my buddy ellis has em in his 88wag and theyre tight in there (cant even wedge in a can/bottle) so i can only imagine itll be worse in the 83. i now have access to a cordless sawzall so if we can find it, i can cut it.

yay 5speed!!!! bout time you get an extra pedal and extra stick in there!!
