  1. 460? no. Allison turbine engine ala blackhawk helicopter. then you can measure fuel in hours instead of gallons.
  2. makes me want to go back to Richardsons Ranch. Been there yet? I went as a kid and got lots of limbcast and thundereggs on a big hippy tribe/family road trip. If I ever leave WA and dont go back to MT itll be Oregon for sure. btw i like your two tone
  3. word, i hear ya there. that said i dont know how many times i (or wifey) have opened the door into poles/ gas pumps etc. perhaps i should be more careful
  4. get on ebay or amazon and get a paraut (parout?). anyway: made in japan=good made in china=bad.
  5. ..............my bad lol. the mouldings serve a purpose y'kno. you like door dings? post scuffs (car ports)? if you do delete them i would (quite humbly of course) recommend that you replace them with another moulding. i dont think width is as necassary as height for protection. youve put a whole bunch of hours on that rig, it would be a pity to ding it up.
  6. what brand plug wires are you using? l series cars MUST have ngks. if not, prepare for suck. speaking of which, got any vac leaks??
  7. ya, i sold it but amm making another jy scavenge run soon ill keep an eye out
  8. naw, youll be fine. mine does that too. ac=lots of fan. btw your alt pulley is RUSTY, clean that thing up before it eats your belt
  9. on the 2.2/2.5 thing: if youre gonna boost then put 2.5 heads on to up flow and lower compression. NA: 2.5 shortblock/hgs+ 2.2 everything else= go fast for cheap (except gas prices)
  10. ........sweet, that makes sense. ill have to remember that next....wait ill never have to do em again. theyre sealed lol
  11. glad youre runnin buddy. time to invest in a 10mm ratcheting wrench for those hard to reach spots
  12. i think the person was not talking about sealed bearings as there really isnt a way to remove the seals w/o damaging the bearings. the thin, blue grease came in unsealed bearings
  13. welcome to the board. use the search function. or google. that is all.
  14. who told you that?? mine are great. the seals on our cars are not very well designed and let a lot of crap in. ive ruined lots of bearings with mud, water crossings etc. i went off GDs suggestion on the bearings and im a happy dude
  15. get on amazon and search for ntn 6207 2rs bearings off the top of my head). theyre sealed so no packing (or having them go bad). i got em for 30ish shipped all four.
  16. /\/\ +1 i had the same issue w my loyale, only i waited a couple weeks to do anything about it lol. make sure you have good light (visibility) and re check your timing marks to make sure they get to where they need to be, youre a little off still. youll see it, then facepalm. god i hope you removed and tossed your tb covers already RV
  17. you wont need to modify or change springs in all probability. you need to set the loose belt up in such a fashion that its tight from the crank, all the way around the cogged idler, and cam sprocket so that all of the slack goes to the tensioner. otherwise youre tightening the tight part and not taking up slack. make sense? hth
  18. the worst thing ive had to do is chizel ice off frrom the ice storm. i then cupped a hand over the lock and exhaled a few times to loosen it up. im nearf Tacoma WA tho so it doesnt get too cold over here
  19. i will flame you. ........and i have a LED:headbang: key for my loyale
  20. yes, its differrent w a ej swap. ground your pump to the body at the pump and see what happens.
  21. this happens alot w ej swaps. the first thing people usually say is to ground the pump to the body at the pump. hth, RV
  22. skylar, i dont know if its something youd feel up to or what but id like to cut some vinyl to honor Roger. either for free or as a fundraiser for his family (funeral costs). lmk what you think. Rob V

  23. man, where do I start. anger i guess, i hope they hang that guy high and long. i know its not going to change anything but far too many good people go down for bad reasons. what a hero. probably saved that girls life, if not that day then in the future. I am so sorry, im sure you have no shortage of help but if there is anything in the world you need, want, or otherwise name it. violence is never the answer, and nobody ever wins. Godspeed Tobias. Thank you for your sacrifice. It takes an incredibly strong fortitude to lay down ones life for another. And just because he probably didnt go into it with that in mind, he didnt have to. we lost a good one. RV
