i took the loooong 14mm 'bolt" from the nac idler pulley from an ea82 and use it to pull the plugs out of the block to get at wrist pins. not all of them came with that bolt. some are different like, they arent hex all the way down. i painted mine red, thus making a tool lol

i think maybe Paul was up too late and read McBrat instead of Mr.Brat lol

make sure your fuel lines arent hooked up backwards. kinda hard to run like that. hth

ya, that car will get better over time, it was pretty buckled when we picked it up. we are currently toying with the idea of a core support swap and post facelift headlights, as they fit the maxi grill better. (and his are currently held together by vinyl)

"maxacy" it think it looks good, but will lopk better when your buckled front end gets fixed and the headlights sit flush. we also have some other maxima bits in the pipes for this car. partouts rule. the spoiler looks sweet other than the color not matching. come to think of it Sam, you neglected to mention the sweet flat poo brown paintjob i laid on your decklid lol. sounds like either "scooby climbs" or "GD" both of them have super sweet camo hatchies, and are local to the greater portland area

are your inners dual filament perhaps? still, the wiring seems off tho

my utmost apologies if this is an already answered question: i am currently parting out a 92 maxima vg30de (quad cam). i noticed GD, that you said any sohc vg30 alt will work on my ea82. am i correct in assuming that in fact the alt in this car will not work for me? thanx for your time and again,sorry if i missed an earlier post on this. do a search ea82 timing belts or google it. also check the fuel filter. get on youtube and look up the art of subaru maintainance, Miles Fox has lots of good stuff

when dealing with stuck control arm bjs i hammer my picklefork like a wedge and not only does it pop out, but you get to mangle and destroy the offending part in the process. .03 (adjusted for inflation) RV

if you move the decimal point you will see my target hp range for this motor. ive blocked out enough panels to feel comfortable trying this method. that and i got 2 sets of hgs and heads so whateva. thanx again for the info
