  2. could someone point me to a thread of that nature? i just picked up a motor in need of hgs, and therefore de-warpage. thanx, RV

    Rear lift

hes got a loyale wag w/ real nice 6 lug alloys
  4. with enough time and $$$ anything can be accomplished. first step, buy a tape measure. step two, pencil/ paper. compare sizes and use your head. measure twice, cut once. good luck. as for a straight bolt on solution: my guess is no, otherwise itd be a gl not a wrx RV
  5. perhaps this isnt the right spot for this but i do believe it to be relevant: i work at a signshop and have been wanting to do usmb bumper stickers/graphics for awhile now. i know some other users do the same thing. how do i go about gaining any needed permission to use usmb. i want to make these things and sell them to benefit usmb partly because i dont feel ive payed my dues yet and partly because this is much to valuable a place to not preserve and nurture. any mods/ people concerned please pm me, i wanna help. RV
  6. also, you might try googling what specifically you need to know. often times google finds a usmb thread from the past. thats how ive done it anyway. good luck man, if you make that motor hold up ill buy you a beer. RV
  7. just a fyi Turbone prolly IS your dad, youd know that if you searched. anyway, dont take it too personally. 2 or 3 people a month ask the same questions you do. the short answer is that its $$$$$ and effort on something that is easily outdone by means of less money. welcome aboard, lets see some respect. cheers, RV
  8. go hillbilly, bondo and drywall screws RV
  9. welcome. the good news is that even if the car is junk, itll probably still get you 800mi. if you like isuzu/zuki stuff youll find people on here that do too. let us know how it goes. RV
  10. if they made them all swivel, they might not be such a rare option. RV
  11. you should be getting at least half your money back. ive NEVER paid more than 500 bucks before i learned how to do it myself( and that was with a new caliper/ set of rotors. hate to bash other peoples work but if I can find enough info to do something right online by myself there is no excuse for that shop borking your diff. oh, to answer the OP's Q: no you should never need a diff as a result of a clutch in a stockish car. RV
  12. first, make sure they are 6x140 lug pattern. you can search for how in the offroad forum. once you do that you need to figure out if that raised steel is gonna hold you up, my guess it it will. you will have two lugs raised and two not raised. option: redrill the hubs to accept the wheels you bought. this is more precise, and easily fouled up if not done properly. RV
  13. i had to delete my front roll bar when i did my 2" on the loyale. it was still a PITA to do tho. RV
  14. Jake...........................................ooooooooooo

  15. my 86 was doing that, thought it was the carb. it was the FF.
  16. simple answer: a 92 loyale will NEVER be like a WRX, ever. Les Schwab is a good call to check stuff out tho. RV
  17. my first car was a 81 GLF fwd 5sp, factory dual exhaust, factory magnesium wheels. 1800 cc. i still need a center cap replaced RV
  18. thanx folks. i kinda figured as much but needed a for sure answer, i think i got it RV
  19. ive got a 2bbl holley nobody wants and i saw Mcbrat had a 4bbl. whitey's hitachi is a lot better with the new fuel filter but i want to know if the holley is feasible. Thanx, RV
