I'll look into it, where did you get them?
-
You should be proud of how awesome those rockers look.

I just put them in today, and it wasn't a direct swap, but with some cutting and swapping parts they fit well, and fold down, although I didn't lay them at the same time now that I think of it. But I swapped the center bracket out with the stock one, unfortunately you can only use half of the bolts that hold it on, on both sides of the seats and where it bolts to the floor. On the bracket in the center where it does bolt to the floor I had to file it out a bit so it sat low enough. On both ends of the seat I had to cut the mounting tabs off as they are too long and hit the plastic. I used the stock wrx side mounts but again you can only use 1 out of 2 bolts that hold them in. The bottom fits well with the exception the rear hold down is in the wrong spot, I just opted not to worry about it, it seems to stay in place just fine with out it.

This car was purchased while I had my last 1992 Legacy Ls wagon. I was thinking of flipping it until I saw the shape it was in, and ended up selling the one I had already put a tone of work into to have a cleaner body to work with. I picked it up of craigslist for $500 it started life as a plain old auto legacy, decided to do a five speed swap, and the mod list kept growing from there, and I can't stop adding to it. Just yesterday I picked up a rear 2002 wrx seat for it to match my front ones. I've also been pondering the idea of a frankenmotor. It currently has 200,000 and runs like the day it was new, and now that is it is summer I can do a bit more work on it as I'm not driving it with my other summer projects on the road. Here are the mods I have done. Exterior Mods: Gt Lip kit Gt Badging Forester S 16" wheels Red Rally armor UR mud flaps Hella Fogs custom painted badge 1997 LGT hatch spoiler Blacked out tailgate JDM'D tails 1982 GL skid plate Projector Headlights built by me Turbo Grill Engine/Drivetrain mods: Cat back W/ wrx muffler Modded intake Five speed swap 1997 outback 4:11 gears Interior Mods: 02 WRX front seats 02 wrx rear seat Forester Compass Kenwood Stereo JVC 6" speakers 1991 Legacy single color door cards 1991 five speed center console Brakes: Stock rears LGT Front dual piston Suspension: Wrx kyb's stock springs 1997 OB rear sway bar

Such an awesome car, and great work too.

I drove this from my house to the mass boarder to pick up a rear wrx wagon seat for my legacy. I then drove within 30 miles of the Canadian boarder to see my grandparents. This ran flawless the whole trip, I only had an issue with one of the rear decklid shocks falling off I just bought those too, cheep aftermarket junk. I'm going to chuck the clips they came with and nut and bolt them on.

That will be awesome. I modified my 02 wrx axel back to fit my legacy, so I would think that would be doable, it took a bit of cutting and welding for mine (i did away with the flange), but it went on pretty smoothly.

This thing is so sweet. Great job on it so far

Yeah it's pretty awesome. Everything from MG's to Yugo's. The trip back was pretty uneventful. My speedo cable broke so the car as 500 miles less on it than it should, I have already swapped that out with a new one I had for my brat. I also got some new decklid shocks, I can not wait to get those in, I had it falling on my head

Thanks Rugby. This is a pic from the campground shorty after we arrived. The Subaru section. I was a little disappointed in the turn out for Subarus this year, usually there are some older ones, this year it was Mine, and one other GL, all the others were much newer the next oldest I believe was a 1996 SVX. There was a lot of other cool stuff as well. I saw a Nissan Patrol for the first time ever. I also saw this 84 saab aero, thought to be one of 6 produced. Kit cars don't usually get my attention, but this year I found myself liking the 356 replicas. I'd love to get one someday... The swap meet section was pretty good this year. I snagged some much needed beetle parts, and I also found a 740 front lip I may try to fit to this car in the near future.

Looking awesome Tom!

I just arrived in Carlisle P.A. Car made it down here no problem. I got a little above 37 mpg on the way down and it turned over 180,000. I can't wait for the show. I also got my rear bumper mounted up. Here is a pic of it before I washed it. More to come from the show in the next few days

Those things are a mess. Glad I removed all that stuff. I believe that this Is a kick up for A/C mine had it as well, when the ac turns on it raises the idle rpm yours actually has the linkage to the carb, mine was missing. The hose coming off the block goes to the intake, I think it is a coolant line. The other stuff is all different from mine, so I couldn't say. It is so nice to have that rats nest gone...

The w123 sedans are awesome. I fit in those a bit better then the coupe. I got my stock rear bumper out, tomorrow I'm switching that back doing the same mods as the front one, drilling holes in the shocks, and moving it closer to the body. I'm also deleting the bumper extension on that one. They make it look like a grandmas car.

Looking good!!! Auto Darkening is where it is at. I would never go back after using one.

Another one! -
Yeah I like the looks of this bumper much better. I'm thinking about switching to the rear as well and fitting it to the body a bit better. And that is my dad's 1984 300CD w123, has over 330k on it now. It's a pretty nice drive, he recently did a vegetable oil conversion, it's pretty nice to carpool to work for free (we work at the same place) We also have a 300sd we drove this winter to keep the salt off from our other stuff.

Took the wagon to work today and swapped the front bumpers. I drilled holes in the shocks for the bumpers and set it closer to the body. I think it looks much better now. I also took of the bumper extensions it had on it.
-
Took a nice pic of it today on they way home. A good way to end a pretty successful weekend over all. I got my gauges working, my bike running again, and gutted my VW so i can put floors in that next.

Looks great! Very well done

Fixed the fuel gauge and the charging issue. A plug was undone out of the back of the instrument cluster. I love easy fixes. The voltmeter is still off, but I think that is a problem with the gauge itself, and I'm not concerned about it now that I no longer have rev it way up to begin charging. It also charges around 14 volts at idle now

This times a million. I spend my life fighting it.

At idle I don't consider it bad. It is not the alternator I've swapped a few around while I have had the engine out, heads off etc. Something is wrong with the car. Tomorrow I plan on digging into it to it. See if I can figure out my issues. Does anyone know if the alternator is supposed to get power from both of the terminals in the plug? I only have power at one of those, IIRC it is the larger black/white one. I've been looking at my wiring schematics, but I have yet to find anything in those.
