I've had so many cars like that  Gotta love them, my legacy being one of them. Speaking of which the lights work great, they are aimed high, so that needs to be addressed, but the light output is great and not blue It took the time for me to put my seatbelt on, and select my tunes for them to change to their true color.

Yep they are completely adjustable using the stock adjusters. They are 4300k I wasn't going to do 8000k or something crazy like that. They are supposed to be white so I'm hoping once they warm up they calm down a bit. The whole purpose of this has been to gain light output at night not loose it. I did quite a bit of research before making them.

Thanks guys! I need to wrap this one up soon so I can get back on my Brat, have a cool pair of ea81's for this summer  Glass didn't get ordered because of a miscommunication. The windshield should be here by Tuesday.

I picked up a kit, came with hid's as well. I picked 4300k's, they offered some more, but after doing a bit of researching I think they will fit my driving the best. I'm hoping the cut off is decent. I don't want to be blinding anyone. I'm waiting for my glass to get done in my GL, and then I can test them. These also have angle eyes which I intend to hook up to my parking lights.

Installed the rear door cards tonight. I have this week off, so I'm hoping to get it back together. I also installed the wiper linkage.

Thanks guys! It's slowly getting there. I may go back to the stock front bumper, but I want to move it in, more toward the car. And I'm not feeling the chrome on this project, It would be painted black If I decide to go that way.

Went home from school today and did some work on this. I got the front grill on along with the front two interior panels (I also replaced the plastic sound deadening that goes on before the panels) Replaced the headlights with four new sealed beams, put some of the roof rack back on, and I finished installing all of the door seals. Pics! The blue looks awesome with the white.

Thanks! I'm hoping to get the glass in it later this week while I'm at school. I then have a week off so I'm hoping to get the interior back together, and get some quotes on my front and rear seats. Should be awesome when it is all back together. Great mpg's for this summer too

Put a bunch of the trim back on today. Put the front windows back in. The door seals are back on, one of the window seals have been put back in. I have been painting all the trim black as it goes back on. I like the look of black over chrome, plus with the white it makes the black really stand out. First thing to go back on, wing mirrors Blacked out trim Put the older style tails on, and my custom bumper.

It's painted!!!!!!!!!!!!! Came out pretty well, there's some runs, and a bit of dust, but there's not much you can do about it when you are painting it in your dirty garage. One of the few runs

How about the VW Amarok  -
I'd go for the ea81 as well. I love the coupes, and they are a rare find. A legacy can be found much easier, you could always find one later, you may not get another chance with an ea81 coupe.

Looks super solid, much better than the wagon I just finished welding back together.... I can't wait to see some progress on this one!

I got white paint. I can't wait until it's sprayed later today I have aftermarket 13 spoke wheels for it that are going to be painted a charcoal or gold, I agree with it being too much white. Right now I'm leaning toward gold for the wheels, as I think it would look very nice with the white.

So far today I have sanded the primer, painted my pillars, put rock guard on, and taped off a couple more things before final paint this afternoon Pics so far! Wait for the next update....

New paint tomorrow, I think yes. I also got a rear window gasket in the mail this week, and a new windshield and gasket on the way. All the glass work will be done sometime this week after paint  I'll post pics up don't you worry.

Love the FJ60. Before I bought my brat I was looking into those as well, they are non existent up here though. I agree the 80's subarus have a better feel to them, I'd rather drive my 80's wagons on a given day then my WRX, or my 92 legacy. The 80's stuff just has more personality.

I'm not sure if I could cover it with stickers after all the body work that I've done It would look cool, but being FWD I don't think I could bring myself to do it. I plan on getting some factory vinyls remade for the bottom of the doors.

Haha thanks, my dad does the spraying, but everything else is all me I'm leaning toward white because it looks very nice on these older ones, and it's super easy to paint, and have come out well. On the other hand, I think a silver, or a dark grey metallic would look very nice as well, but both a much harder to paint. I don't want another blue car really, my brat and wrx are both blue so I kind of want to leave that out of the picture. If it had the grey, or tan interior, I could choose any color I wanted. The blue is killing me.

I have more projects to come after this one up on the list: My Brat First and above all the rest (i need to get it back on the street!) 1972 Beetle convertible (fix and sell project) 1963 chevy I'm helping a friend with (more body work) I'd like to fix my 4x4 ea81 wagon (new body) My Goliath.... So needless to say, I have more than enough on my todo it list  As of today It's primed!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks really good too a good dose of block sanding it will be ready for paint!
