  1. That is absolutely what I needed to know. Thank you so much. I have the special bolt things. I just wasn't sure what to do with them.
  2. I got a reciever off eBay for my 91 legacy and I can see the two bolts that goto the tow hooks, but I am not sure how the front two bolts mount up and I wondered if anyone knew or had pix. Thanks
  3. My friend got pulled over because he had no taillights. Upon investigation he has headlights and brake lights, but not parking/marker lights. Flipping the switch on the steering column does nothing. This is an 86 DL wagon I believe. Any Ideas?
  4. I did this same kinda of swap on my 92 loyale. I found the same problem. The trim didn't match up at all. The headliner had been cut back to far and some of the holes for mounting where different. But I still liked the result.
  5. This is just me personally and doesn't mean jack...... But I like a bumper that sticks out a bit. Little more space before the tree hits the rest of the car. 2 broken tailights and a broken headlight settle this for me. Oh, I have welded a couple of unibodies before and never had a problem with inspections. One was a trailer hitch. The others where welding bumpers on.
  6. Hello all. I got my first ever legacy and I have a question.... I got a 91 legacy sedan I want to put 17" or 18" wheels on it. I need to know what kind of offset I am looking at and what tires size to stay close to stock and not rub anywhere. Thanks
  7. I have lotsa these solenoids that I can send someone for the plug ends. It really stinks not haveing a U pull around me.
  8. Can I just buy these premade from your for like $25? I am lazy and have no junkyards nearby to get stuff from. My EGR has been bad for almost two years now. I have replaced it twice and it lasts about a month before going out again.
  9. Some of have a conscience and would rather carry them up and say, "Hey I will give you $2 for these goffy dodads!"
  10. OK eveyone here is the new smaller file size. This is a little less then 8 mb instead of the 27 or so that is used to be. "How to keep your Subaru alive" in PDF format
  11. I linked it ages ago on www.4x4roo.com just scroll thru the thread. DOWNLOAD PDF FILE FROM 4x4Roo.com
  12. Looking good!! Way to go. Dirty dawg. I wish I didn't have bills to pay then I could get some.
  13. I have owned both DL and Gl style. I have found no difference in lighting between the two. They both suck compared to newer cars. I installed fog/driving lights on both and found a marked improvement. Even with cheapo $18 lights there was a big difference in visibility. Also, better bulbs on both types helped a lot too. I want some HIDs for my wagon.
