  1. The purge solenoid is probably not working. The car was originally a 97 OBW AT ej25, but I swapped in an ej22 last month.
  2. I've heard that. The intake that came with this ej22 doesn't have charcoal canister ports so I've been looking for an intake that does (and also EGR). In the meantime I am trying to determine if the pressure sensor is busted. Both codes seem to be related to it.
  3. The ej22 if from a 99, I think (not completely sure). It has EGR but no charcoal canister ports. Codes: P0441 Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow P1143 This link has some info I cleared the codes and they came back 50 miles later.
  4. Might anyone be able to send me an imagine of the underhood vacuum/hose diagram for the ej22? I am having some issues reconciling the hosing for my ej22 as I had an ej25 in there until recently. I'm getting some codes and am trying to make sure I have all the hoses correct before replacing parts. Thanks!
  5. Did you use a Subaru t-stat or one from the parts store? Check that the fans come on and also check that you super burped the radiator.
  6. What t-stat did you use? A Subaru OE t-stat or an aftermarket? If you used aftermarket then you used the wrong one. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=128919
  7. I've definitely stalled my engine by pouring the seafom too fast. Just go really slow and it'll start to smoke. Then drive it around to block while smoking to be a good neighbor.
  8. Sorry it's just a block (and heads) from an EJ25D, not turbo.

  9. I have one EJ25D block and heads for sale.

  10. Remove the valve cover. You'll have all the room you need and it's a good opportunity to replace the valve cover gasket.
  11. I think you might want to replace the head. You can buy used heads for $100. Rebuilt for a bit more.
  12. When you replace them make sure to use anti-seize goop on the threads. You'll thank yourself in the future.
  13. Things have definitely changed, not for the worse. I like this version of the forums as I use it on other forums. Is there any way to turn on the quick reply?
