Well Jeff i might take you that up on that, but JC Whitney has a brand new replacement tank for $86 shipped, also they are giving me different product numbers for turbo/fuel injected motors than the carbed motors. We will see.

Yep thats right, only 82,175, its a baby. Also i just changed my second fuel filter, i was gonna replace it, but i decided to let the gas drain a little to see what it looked like. Well i drained about 2 gallons and the gas is horrible, i mean it looks like im draining orange juice out of my car. I think im just gonna replace the gas tank, i really dont want to ruin any more gas or try and repair such a bad tank.

Dude no worries at all, it was easy to give em a quick clip with the sawzall. And yeah, im gonna keep flushing the tank, i ran about half a gallon out of it out and it all seemed clear. Hopefully i will be running good enough to wheel on the 22nd.

So it has been running horribly, we even had to tow it home. So i checked out the fuel filter, which was new by the way, and found this. Put a new filter on, and absolutely drenched the carb with Carb Cleaner and dumped a bottle of ISO-HEET to remove any water. It seems to be running much better now, i mean like a thousand times better.

Thats exactly right Ghost, you do just slide right into the seat. Whats also nice about the 2" lift is that it keeps your rear diff tucked up and out of the way.

Well with the help of Jeff, Rick, and Dan, who are awesome by the way, i finally got a lifted wagon. Its an 1985 GL Wagon, with a 5-Speed DR. 2" lift with some 27x8.50x14 Wildcats that are currently on loan from Jeff. It needs a rear bumper, the wipers fixed, the blinkers fixed, the heater fixed and other small things, but over all its seem to be running good. And here is the real kicker.

Even though i only saw this thing for a little while, it is rad! It went anywhere with ease.

Well the sign says the trail is called "Ridge Ram" i couldn't tell you where it is exactly as it was my first time up there.

"Holy Thread Revival Batman!" But yeah your diff will still bind up while not in 4 wheel drive, its still there just no power being sent to it. I have had mine welded for almost a year now and i still run 13's but i have beat it to death and never broken an axle, even turning really sharp on dry pavement. The inside tire will churp a lot and it will get sluggish but just put er in first and rev it up a little. Its amazing how much more traction you get with it though, its like night and day, i will never go back to open diff.

Well im back after quite the absence...I could not log on for the longest time so i just gave up and then one day sent like 10 request to the admins to fix my account, so they did and im here again. This is the evolution of my car, it was nice when i got it, but i believe it was offroaded before i got it and also overheated so it doesnt run right, well at least i think haha. Stock when i got it... Some super rusty pugs that never held air right.... some drilled chevy wheels with different sized tires, was RWD at the time... How she sits today. All ive done is horribly wire the lights in and got a set of brand new falken snow tires for free! But she runs good for the most part. Maybe one day i will actually let it leave the city limits ...

well if i can get my car going by then i would like too, it needs some brake work and i need to button up all of the cooling system stuff i boogered up. If i cant get it going, maybe i will just run down and hang out, maybe bring my AWD dodge caravan FTW! Well see.

Ah, down at the Skagit River i see. Sauk mountain sure looks cool from there. i knew i have seen that car rolling around town before. Is that down in crowsfoot?

Nowadays im rolling this thing because my subaru has become a full time offroad rig. I love this car to death.

Alright Sunday a lady from church said she had a Subaru that i could have, FOR FREE!!! So me and my friends went over yesterday and checked it out. It had been sitting for a while so lots of green stuff. We didnt have an extra battery so we came back later that day with one and after about a minute of cranking and unsticking the gas pedal she was purring like a kitten. Was sitting for about 4 years. The Specs 1983 Subaru GL Sedan 2WD 5-Speed The Good Great running motor! Interior is intact and relatively clean Almost $2000 in reciepts in the glove box for the last 40,000 miles. 5-Speed transmission The Bad Transmission doesn't like to shift, does not seem to be properly disengaging Also transmission will not shift into first, have to start in second. No carpets. Other missalaneous stuffs The Ugly Rust everywhere!!! Holes in trunk - Rust Holes in fenders - Rust Holes in underside - Rust I cant stress how bad the rust is but the car runs exellent.
