i have a welder chop saw and all the welding stuff, and plenty of people to help i thought i might be a fun idea, what about a ej arent those a straight bolt in?
-
if i had any other option readily available i would but since my friends just has this engine laying around its easy. i was also thinking of a buick v6 or even a buick turbo v6. i just want to make a fast car but i want it to be very inexpensive.

alright i want some real info on this, i have an idea. my subaru is having some running problems. i think the computer might be shot. my friend is nuts and had an idea, he said if i wanted to i could take his 383 which is just a 350 with a longer stroke and put it in. right now its in his truck and he wants to put a different motor in. so my question is do you think that this is even possible. if not tell me why, if it is tell me why too. oh yeah, it would be with a five speed he has and it would be permanetly RWD, which would make an insane car which would probably kill me, but it would be fun?

alright its been a while but i have been working on the wagon, tapped and heli-coiled out a new exhaust bolt hole and have got it running alright, but last night it just died on me, stranded me on the other side of a hill so i had to walk about 2 miles home. i think it is a problem with the injector, i does not recive any power, there isnt even any power getting to the fuse box for the fuse that runs the injector. what could the problem be? is it a relay? if we put power to the injector it does work that ways so its something in the connection? thanks for your help

doesnt coolant boil at a higher temp. i know i had just water in my car and it over heated a lot but as soon as i put coolant in it it didnt heat up so bad at all. so maybe you need to go with strait coolant. im not a subaru guru but its just from my experience.

yeah had my wagon with about 100 big rocks for this guys garden and had it sitting on the bump stops its was pretty low. -
see, i have the coils i just didnt buy the tap or install too because i figured i could use the bolt to install it and the tap would be some normal size. guess i will have to save my money, man my subaru hasnt been going for like 2 months now, its driving me crazy.

no, heli coils are like little springs.

alright quite a while back my exhaust got smashed by a huge rock and when i got under the car i noticed a bolt was missing on the passenger side. so i go to tighten it up and all of a sudden the bolt falls out with most of the threads and the pipe wasnt even close to flush. so since then i have bought some heli coils and have straightened thet pipe. now the guys at the parts place said i needed a special tap. is he lying to me, and has anyone done a heli coil on exhaust. its a 10mm by 1.25pitch bolt. im going crazy not being able to drive my car. also all i know about the coils is whats on the box, 770-3025 M10x1.25 Metric Thread Repair Inserts

if i had enough money laying around to get those i sure would, i dont know what they would say if you tried to get them mounted, i have a friend whoed do it. thats probably the only way to get it done.

a push button 4wd is a orange button in the middle of the shifter that when pressed engages the 4wd. i have it on my wagon, works pretty good but if you want some serious off roading get the Dual Range.( i would show you some pics but i dont have any good ones, look in the photo gallery)

dont get rid of that paint its awesome, people would be in aw, i once saw a GMC Jimmy with the same paint. i like it, the interior is awesome too, i like that big guage. -
well i was driving my wagon a little fast down a not so beaten path kind of showing off to my friends and forgot about a little hill in the middle of the road, must have been doing a good 30 when i hit the thing, after i stopped my friend told me i got huge air, maybe 2 feet but he was pretty stoked so probably less. so anyways i screwed up my exhaust bent it away from the engine, and one bolt was missing, and when i tried to tighten it i stripped out the hold and so i have had a few different ideas going throught my head. a friend said to use a helix coil, has anyone done this before he said it wasnt to hard. i have since then beat the exhaust close to normal. any picture of a helix coil would be good.

how could i make a sticker?

Well its been a long time since i have even looked around here. lots of projects and the subaru hasnt been running because i smashed the exhaust and dont have any at all on it. but today my brother got a good idea. he is an artist and i showed him a picture of this skull and i told him he should put it on my car when it got nice. well it has been raining all day and my brother thought it would be cool to do it anyway so i let him first he sketched it out in pencil then went over with permanent marker. its on there good i scrubbed pretty hard and it didnt even smear using water. we had a umbrella and a sheet of metal keeping it dry. check it out he did a good job huh.
