will they fit a loyale with no lift width wise they seem really wide 225 i know they will fit in height
-
went to walmart today and saw some of the liberators i hear a lot about, my question is what do you guys think of them, i know i should search and i did but there isnt a lot about them and what people think also would they fit a non-lifted loyale, i have some 14" steelies and i need the same size tire all the way around other wise i have no 4WD because i ruined two of my stock rims so i have 2 13's and 4 pug 14's and one which is eaten by rust and dont think its fixable other wise i dont have good tires. might look around but it will be a long time before i get a lift and i still want some good tires.

By the looks of it they are just gong to kill this movie, all of the old ones were good because they were simple, all the computer graphics and stuff just ruin it, they are ruining a lot of good movies by making remakes oh yeah, heres my background.

Ok i just got back last night from a vacation with my family. we went down to ocean shores washington and i saw a lot of nice subarus, but on the way home on I-5 near Fife last night i saw a bright yellow car coming didnt pay much attention because i had seen like 20 yellow cars go by already then i noticed it was an XT looked like it had a bit of a lift and like i said bright yellow with the subaru rally stars and the stripe down the side in blue im not sure if it was an XT6 with the air bags pumped up not sure how high they lift it. anybody seen this car before, or anyone on the board never seen it before.

RWD Subaru Video Check It Out!!!!!(Reposted)
Vegablade replied to Vegablade's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
no if the front axle is broken then if you take it out of 4 wheel drive the car wont budge, its like being in neutral and i believe the speedo works of the trans so it doesnt need to be moving to tell the speed of the engine. -
is there any possiblility of welding a front diff. i havent heard much on this, my uncle said they had a little race car that they welded the diff on it and it helped a lot, he said he would do it for me. i have also driven a lot of 3 and 4 wheelers that have a locked rearend they do just fine on pavement if you can get them to slip a little to relieve the pressure.

dont do what i did and take off everything a foot behind the y-pipe, it gets a lot of attention and lost a lot of low end torque i did notice a small difference in higher end but nothing outstanding, before this i had everything stock except a glass pack were the muffler used to be, sounded good, also i cleaned out the cat by hitting it on the ground man, a lot of junk came out of that thing.

14" tyres: 185/60 or 185/70?
Vegablade replied to Ross's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
since my car has no drivers side front axle its in rear wheel drive and so i have 175/80/13 on the front and 195/70/14 on that back and the rear rides really smooth. on my pontiac my dad ran 185/70/14 and that rode smooth and then got some 195/60/14 and they ride much harder. i would go for the 70's if they wont rub, they should be smoother. -
The battery is fine, i think your right, a friend told me i need a new cylinoid so i will go to the junk yard and take a whole starter off. he said that since it takes a lot of volts to start it its probably starting to wear out.
-
I have a 90 Loyale and its doesn't like to start, i thought it was the battery so i used another one and charged it. i also got a new positive terminal. so i just finished charging the battery and i go to start it up. everything comes on normally, the heater fan, lights and that stuff but the gauge only says about 8-10 volts and when i try and turn it over it doesn't turn over it just clicks. i can jump start it or push start it but other wise nothing. oh also my reverse light stay on now, could that have anyting to do with it.
