  1. Yeah cutting it is your best bet. As well as pretty much cutting out that whole corner.
  2. Aren't the nuts welded to the bumper? Did you just break them off? I have removed my front bumper multiple times, its pretty easy, 4 bolts and the blinker connectors and done. Then again mine has no AC, or PS.
  3. From Amazon. It works well. Seems pretty accurate. There is a ground wire that comes off of it and when its grounded it turns on. Will probably put a small switch on it. http://www.amazon.com/Xscorpion-DBT024RP-Platinum-Terminal-Terminals/dp/B001RRU726/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1411448322&sr=8-9&keywords=battery+terminal+gauge
  4. This is on a bronco frame. Can't say that I like it but to each his own.
  5. Updated my 6 accessory fuse block to a 12. Also cleaned some more of the wiring up, still lots to do there.
  6. Anything is possible with enough time and money. As everyone said, you will pretty much have to build a custom frame under the body to support all the components. Do you want this to be an offroad capable rig or do you just want it to look cool?
  7. A transfercase such as that used in this Brat would be used to switch between 2WD/4WD and to switch 4WD High/Low just like the stock subaru unit only it is seperate from the transmission and would be heavier duty. Also when used behind the subaru transmission would give you a "double low" as you can put both in 4WD Low. It can be SAS or you could use a rear diff up front to keep the parts subaru based. As far as installing one goes, as you can see it is quite involved as you will need to build a subframe to mount it and do a 3 or 4 link if you wanted to go with Solid Axles.
  8. Even if you break it, it would be easier to just fix it than swap your entire running gear. I would suggest finding an OEM RWD car and starting there if you want a 1337 drift mobile.
  9. Oh, this again...... No...There is no simple way to make a push button RWD/4WD happen. Swapping a transfer case with an electrical actuator would be the easiest (Not actually easy). These cars were not designed to be RWD, you will break stock parts doing it. I know because i have done it several times. If you want to tackle such a project start reading and learning and saving lots of money. Also we need the dancing padlock smiley!
  10. I had 27s before my 29s. It was ok on the flat but definitely had to downshift for the hills in my 5-speed, even with a wever. You may have a hard time with the tall gears in an automatic even with 27s or 26s.
  11. Automatic transmissions in these are pretty weak. You will have a hard time pulling hills. Even with a Weber and 5-Speed i have a hard time with anything other then flat ground with 235s, even then I just keep it in 4th.
