Hello Ben, Welcome! JAW lifts are created by member One Eye (Jeff) and friends here in NW Washington. They are not sold online or anything like that so that is probably why its hard to find any info. Most of it is home built by us in his shop using his designs. If you are interested in purchasing a lift, I would check out a couple of these places. High Guys Lifts SJR Lifts Also just out of curiosity where are you seeing the JAW Lifts stickers? Online? Only a few of us have those haha.

Will this weber fit my brat
Vegablade replied to 82bratdude's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
It should work. The adapter in the picture looks like an EA81 intake version. -
We run our strut blocks at 17*. Not sure if that would translate between Gen2/Gen3 but it may be worth mocking up.

Well in my current situation, if 20K fell out of the sky I would have a couple options. 1. Dump it all in my Tacoma and have a pretty sweet trail rig. Armor all around (Front/Rear Plate bumpers), Skids, Gears, Air Lockers front/rear, New Suspension/Lift. You know your typical lifted truck stuff. Im sure it would do well offroad and be pretty strong. 2. Now i know some people say boo to this but I would straight axle my wagon. Tube frame, Solid Axles front/rear, Ej22, D/R, Transfer case, Gears, Lockers, the whole package. Just like my truck, only a smaller platform for our tight trails. As long as you took care of it, it would last forever and wheel great. 3. Same as above but for my BRAT. 4. Drop a Subaru on a suburban frame (boring). In all honesty I would probably choose option number 2. I am not so much into Subarus because they are decent offroad but more because I like the platform. Lots of storage area, Haul 4 people relatively comfortably, and its just different and I enjoy meeting people who want to talk about it. Also for some of our areas the small the rig the better. I would just tow this monstrosity to the trail using my truck anyway and then not worry about damaging or breaking it. Also I would stick with a Subaru because they have a great following and have helped my meet some of my best friends. Even if it wouldn't be a Subaru much.

Holy crap Robert. That is insane. Too bad to that I didn't get to see that thing run. Good luck with what you can salvage!

And with a incredibly bad find i'm out. Rear passenger wheel bearing is toast. Like move the whole wheel in circles bad. Drivers side is fine. Castle nut is tight. Going to get the trailing arm removed this week and replace the bearings. I thought i was hearing my driveline make noise but turns out it was this instead . I'm pissed.

With a bunch of help from Jeff, this weekend was quite productive. Swapped my clutch and built exhaust for both my car and his.

Yeah something like Dodge D50 or some steel stock Toyota rims may work.
-
Well you would need to install 4" strut lift blocks, and 2 or 4" Crossmember/Transmission lift blocks and extend the steering shaft. But why leave the rear stock?
-
If you you went two inches and found a set of peugeot wheels you wouldn't need to do a lot or if you converted to six lug and found some close to stock offset wheels you would be good. Wheels with tons of negative offset will need more trimming but stock style wheel with positive wont. Like Zap said, if you made your way North Jeff could hook you up for cheap and we could help you install it.

Is it stock running gear otherwise? Or is it Dual Range swapped?

HAHAHA no. Why would anyone in there right mind think that such a thing would work. If your going to fix something do it right.
-
Ok so I filled the whole clutch assembly area with 4 liters of coke and a couple tins of oatmeal. But now when I disengage the clutch it makes this crazy noise and it wont move. Its also smoking a lot out of that area. Do I need to add more?
