^^^^^^ Thanks They're called kiwis over here but you guys know them as New Zealand. Since my first post I had to look and they start at 300 and go to about 1000 at the wreakers. On-road starts at 5000 which would suit me but I want a spares car for that money aswell. I dont earn much but thats all I a willing to purchase 'em for. I like the look a not-so stock brat with 27's , 4-6' lift and a roll bar, or, a station wagon done up camping style with the roof rack on top, uhf, fuel cans and tyres strapped to the roof with everything shoved to the roof inside. What are the pros and cons for the brat and the wagon? Tom

Gday, Don't ask me how but I found my way on here a few days ago when I was looking for something diffrent as a working legal car if i can otherwise turn to a beater. At the moment I have had enough of the 4wds and the hassles after a good week end. Just searching info on GL wagons and brumbys. I do not have a subaru but two neighbours a few kms down the road have both had 2 and just send them to the dump. Furthest neighbour 12km has a brumby and the closest 500m had a GL wagon. I had a look around (<20mins) and it seems like a decent forum. Btw I am Tom short for Thomas, mates call me lawrie pronounced lorry (the UK word for truck) which is after my last name... Lauridsen.
