  1. Thanks, Mr Leeroy! I knew one of you guys would know. All of the 76' coupes i looked up online didn't have the round blinkers but had the square ones, but some of the wagons had round blinkers. Is there any interest in parts or buying this car from anyone on here?
  2. I'm not familiar with 70's subarus but this seemed kind of cool, the guy said oil was pouring out of one cylinder when he parked it, it has an automatic tranny and paint down both sides that say subaru.
  3. I used the hole through the passenger fender where the stock Loyale air cleaner pulled air from, and now I feel stupid because you have a Brat. Oh damn. Haha
  4. I'm familiar with that, i own a house in Golden and grew up in south park in the mtns. I have an EJ in my loyale and i just modified the stock intake to accept air from the loyale stock air filter, works good so far and all i did was make the hole bigger in the air filter housing and use some duck tape. Are you looking for any subaru parts?
  5. Haha sweet! Yeah, man i'm all about it, i'll PM my numberto you so you can text me questions broseff.
  6. Geez, you make me blush haha. I'll try and help anyone with questions i don't mind!
  7. Where are you at in CO? Do you still have the factory intake for the 2.2? I used the factory one in mine and just modified it a bit.
  8. Nope, he's definitely a drug dealer haha.
  9. Backyard engineering at it's finest! Love it. Looks like someones getting ready to do an EJ swap!
  10. It's because he does such a bad job that it glows from the hot wires! Ha just kidding P!
  11. For an OBD I you're going to want to get an EJ22 1994 to 1990. I'd hate for you to find a 95' and have all that hassle. If its a 98' EJ you've got i would really consider ditching itfor an older style, i've read alot on here about people swapping in the OBD II 2.2s and seems to be a pain and for what gain? There can't be that much more HP right? Damn the VSS!
  12. You need an engine hoist? Damn these miles man, mines just sitting in the garage doing alot of nothin!
  13. It's a fuse that allows AWD in those cars, it may not exist in manuals but i know it definitely exists in automatics. I read somewhere in the cars manual that in the event of a flat tire the driver was to pull this fuse to put the car in front wheel drive, when you pull it there is even a light that comes on in the instrument cluster saying front wheel i believe. Subaru did this because the spare tire they provided was smaller than the other tires and if left in AWD while running a smaller spare it could damage the tranny. Pretty smart them engineers!
  14. That's exciting, the newest member of the adventure family haha. Take that fuse out on the passenger side of the engine bay and really feel the power! I took the one out of my wifes 2001 Outback and the power was like night and day...too bad i waited until the last week of owning it to do it! But what an easy way to get better gas mileage during the dry months. Can't wait to see more of this one. Hope that human baby is doing good as well!
  15. Very nice wagon Scott! Looks alot like my 92' although a bit more tame. What a great start though. The good news is those heater buttons just pop right out fairly effortlessly and a trip to the local junkyard may even render you some good replacement interior door panels?
  16. Was driving back to Cheyenne from Golden again yesterday and decided to hop off the interstate at the Carr, CO exit and take a dirt road into Wyoming. Needless to say there was a lot of mud and it was a whole lot funner than driving 45 on a dirt road than driving 75 on the pavement!
  17. Maybe it was an old smelly lady? That's pretty crappy. How did they get your car started?
  18. That's a real nice looking brat! I love that color.
  19. Nice! I seen this on a texas craiglist for sale! Gainesville maybe? Can't remember but i love that we can watch it's progress on here, awesome.
  20. It might? Your biggest concern would probably be mounting it in the stock location. I'm sure if you put a wanted ad for a fuel injected fuel pump in old 80's gen i bet someone would sell you a good one for the same price my man. The best part is it bolts right in without modification! I'd figure montana would have some great junkyards full of old subaru stuff! Reminds me of shitty cheyenne, took me 3 different stores to find a lower balljoint tonight!
