http://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-news/1986-subaru-legacy-starts-after-being-submerged-in-lake-for-three-months-ar130602/picture458976.html They say this is an 86' Subaru Legacy, something tells me they meant to say 96'? I think its BS, the owner sprayed the ECU with brake cleaner and it started right up. Yeah sure. Check it out for yourself.

Haha that's fantastic, how great is it that the "italian" part can be changed to whatever type of people you want?
-
Here's just a sample my friend! It's been such a bummer, i didn't have lug nuts to put them on, then i got them Monday but had to work and woke up with a vicious cold today! Ha what gives? So they're just chillin in the garage. Oh well patience is our greatest virtue right?

Found a new site for pictures, imageshack. Seems to be working the way it should. Photobucket just stopped working on my phone. Anyway, here is a pic of the 13' and the 92', its amazing how much they change over the years huh

Nice find, you're probably better off posting this in the old gen 80's. Or better yet start a new topic in members rides and post pics/plans/and repairs you do. That might be better, but either way welcome to USMB. -
An italian tune up? I've never heard of such a thing, what is that? Haha
-
That is amazing! I really was gearing up to get it haha, I though no one is going to buy that thing if its tranny is bad and wait and offer him $300. Since you're heading back to Wisconsin, how did you hear about it? I live in Cheyenne which is an hour north of Foco so im always on that craigslist lurking around like a creep!

How the hell did this happen?
Scooner replied to shoebee2's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Those Speedos went out alot and intermittently worked so that is pretty common, I dont know the cause though. What state do you live in just out of curiosity? Ohhh I see now, its not an STI its just a regular impreza. Ha at first I was like wait an STI? That just didn't seem right. I just needed to reread that first post you made. -
No way! This is the one from stove prairie? In the add didn't the guy say 3rd and 4th gears were out of it?

You can drill out the flywheel your self if you have a drill and a carbide grinding bit. I went to the local hardware store and bought a 1/2" round and clamped it in a vice and just grinded away and just kept putting it on the engine and trying it, works fine. Lets see a pic of your ride -

Thats a good idea, and I should probably do the same. I got the best deal I could around here. I called every store and a dude at peerless tire here was able to get me all 4 for $538 and he even through in steel valve stems for free. It kills me to just have the tires and wheels just sitting in the garage...till next week. -

GRANT! I just brought home my brand spanking new General Grabber AT2s! The tread depth really surprised me and I cant wait to try them out. The saddest part in this is I had no regular stock lug nuts to put my new wheels on! Argh. So I ordered some off of amazon and won't get them till next week, I can already tell they are going to make a HUGE difference! Nice pics by the way bro! -

Welcome, I remember seeing this on craigslist, some of the guys on here were talking about how bad they thought the body putty must be, is it really bad or is that just paint on the sides? -
I wanted to tell you I moved this past weekend and came across a wing I pulled off of a junkyard car a while back when I had my 99' OBW, I also have the cargo cover thing that mounts back there and rolls up. It'd probably be easier to find a hatch with it already mounted cause I remember it might be a pain to drill out the holes and mount but I might be wrong.
-
Do you have a wing for the hatch of your outback?
-
Photobucket can sucket. What other photo sharing sites is anyone else using with an Android phone they'd recommend?
-
Yeah, you bet. I bought a Curt model 11275 hitch off of amazon, they're about a hundred bucks. The wiring I did completely separately and made my own plug so I could run blinkers. The 4 pin plug wasn't going to be an easy plug and play thing. The hitch came with all of the hardware and good instructions as well, the only thing I changed is I put a 1/4 inch steel plate about 15" long on the top side of the bolts that held the front part of the hitch to the car just to sandwich it better. If photobucket wasn't such a pile or crap id show you a picture haha.

Ej22 swap. Radiator question.
Scooner replied to Suba_GL_87's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
No, put the radiator in after putting the engine in. You'll have more room to get the engine in and shifted around and there's no need to bash it all up bud.
