"NOOB" looking to buy a BRAT!
Scooner replied to buckkiller's topic in Meet n' Greet. Your USMB Welcome Center
Nice! The brat you build will be pretty sweet, I hope you start a build thread on it with pics so we can all drool. Funny, I bought my wife a 13' outback last June and its not so much as she won't t let me do anything to it as im reluctant because its brand new and I dont want to jeopardize the warranty. How do you guys like yours? I think the CVT tranny is funky. -

Love that van, man! Those converted ones are killer! -
heck out my new utility trailer I bought with a gift card we received from remax for being a veteran and buying a house through them. Picked the trailer up brand new from lowes for $548!! The original price is $699 but someone screwed up and left a two year old sales tag on this particular one. Its a 5x8 with folding ramp. I flipped the axle after work to "lift it", was really easy and now has a decent ride height with my lifted loyale.

Man, I love the way them gen 1s look! The coolest part is you've got a powerful modern engine. I bet alot of people get "bit" when they realize its a bit of a sleeper huh? What part of Denver did you move to? Must be for school?

Ej22 swap. Radiator question.
Scooner replied to Suba_GL_87's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Definitely go two row, install it after putting the engine in and as far as hose size you'll have to get creative. On both of my EJ swaps I just used the radiator out of the donor legacy and it worked perfect aside from modifying the radiator support a bit, I even used new hoses made for the 90' legacy. Do a search and you should find some good threads on this radiator issue. Good luck! Levi -

Thank you sir! I thought I was the only one with turbine style wheels on here?! Now we must battle. Ha. I searched FOREVER on craigslist for these! I had some turbine wheels on my first car well truck an F150 and thought it'd be awesome to put them on a subie. Found these for $60! They came off of a datsun I think the guy said? But they're 14X6 6 lug, and they have ZERO damage! Which makes me want to put my steels on if I want to go off-road anytime soon haha.

But definitely next time I go up that way i'll check on that bra for you...and maybe buy a white GL wagon too

Where do you call home? I wish I could live in the northwest, I severely miss that place. We drove our 13' Outback out to Brookings, OR a month after we bought it last summer. I want to take a trip in my car up to Neah Bay some time for some adventure, that'd be a good trip! -

Wow, thats an awesome price! I think I might try and get the same ones. My car has 220/70R14s right now but are aged and are extremely crappy in the snow! I priced some BF Goodrich 195/75R14s All Terrain T/As and discount was at $645. From what I see on this site ALOT of people dig those AT2s so I might have to give em a shot. Hey another idea for a rooftop basket is making one out of pvc pipe from home depot or Lowe's, just use the pre made elbows, Ts etc and glue it all. I guess they're super strong and when painted black look pretty good. So thats an option for you, easily repairable too. You could do the entire rack for under $100 easy. I just LOVE to weld thats why im doing steel. -
Here are the wheels.
-
Wanted to go to the lumber store and get some wood, opened the garage door and though, "screw that." So I took my rims out from under the bench and took a pic to share, they are 14x6 datsun wheels I wanted to mount 195/75R14 Bf Goodrich All Terrains. Does anyone on here have a pic of this wheel/tire combo?
-
The wagon looks amazing, I love that lift. Any new updates to it?
-
Looks terrifying haha. Pretty B-A though!
-
What up, do you currently have a subaru? If so, please share some pics. We're all pic whores round' here!

Yeah right, this forum is no place for graphic and heinous lies friend!

That's a great looking wagon my friend! Mine is similar to that, I've been meaning to go pick up some 1/2" or 3/4" square tubing to weld up a basket for the top of mine. What wheel/tire combo are you running? -
Did a giant take your front license plate off, crumble it up then pound it flat with its fists, before putting it back on? Haha
