Hi am new to this site. Have recently brought someone else unfinished trike project and seems they have stuffed up with the adapter plate as there are metal filings and grooves in the housing. Does anyone know how thick the adapter plate should be or some kind of calculation to work out thickness? Any help or info would be much appreciated
