  1. Sorry, I probably should have said propeller shaft. I see how that could be confusing. I the transsmission side length make sense. Thank you for responding and answering my question.
  2. This might be a dumb question, but is there any difference between the Auto trans and Manual trans driveshafts?? The shop manual only pictures one. Thank you
  3. Check the link out. I was thinking of changing my auto-retracting belts on my Loyale. Their pricing seems resonable https://www.seatbeltplanet.com/seatbelts-and-accessories/3-pt-retractable-lap-shoulder/

  10. Please search USMB for info on subject first, then ask questions. I'm assuming you are new.. great welcome! The search function is not great, but try it. You can find a lot by using Google and YouTube. Once you have gathered as much as you can, we are more than happy to offer advise. We have all been there. :-)
  11. Rekeyed igniton/door lock on the Loyale. Super sweet to have a key with teeth. Working on a write up. Should have it all done by next week
  12. Fyi: Break away igniton security bolts Subaru oem part#83140GA000 Were only $2.26+tax at Subaru dealership
  13. Yes, super easy to remove to breakaway bolts. Use a dremel and it's cake! Make sure to reduce to diameter of the cutting wheel, so you dont cut into the top plate. Only takes small amount of pressure and bolts turn easy. I found a great resource for the wafers to rekey locks. They sell coded and and uncoded locks. It is best to call and confirm part numbers with them. http://hemitchell.com/ Business Hours: Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST 12845 NE Airport Way Portland, OR 97230 E-Mail: orders@hemitchell.com Phone: 800-626-5625 503-236-9444
  14. Keep a small screw driver with you at all times. Always lock-tite. Dumb screw!
  15. 93 Loyale wagon manual I'm rekeying all my locks on the car. The ignition lock is the only issue. I have removed the ignition from the column and now need to remove the barrel. I have researched(similar)barrel removal, and found that you need to put key in Acc postion and push the pin on the side and it should release. Now I should say that the like cylinders are Toyota... they look exactly like Subaru. Is there some trick to get it to release? I appreciate any help.
  16. I really want to try this with my loyale, so I can add HID. Grinding the glass flutes has been done, but it would be nice not to ruin original parts that are slowly disappearing every day. In the video they are going for original appearance with flutes. Not sure how you would delete the flutes, unless you used some kind of self leveling material on the inside to form a flat surface when casting. You could do a lot stuff with this material. Check it out...watcha think? *edited spelling *
  17. You will hear crickets, when * you * just ask without researching. Google or YouTube will give you an idea. Hint:
  18. Is your catalytic converter old? You could loosen both sides of the exhaust just enough.... it will be loud but its worth checking. When mine went, I noticed that it started losening power over time, and then it bucked and died. It was hard to keep it going, gas to the floor.... barely made it out of traffic. The cat was glowing orange, so loosened the exhaust and drove it home. If you havent done yet, might be worth a try.
  19. Nut - Take your mount to a Hardware store to get correct nut Pulley - junk yard or buy on USMB
