  1. Hello, I am living in the Yukon for the winter and just recently got a Subaru. with the temps expected to be around -40 for a couple months I have been thinking about trying this viscosity. I am wondering if anyone out there has tried this thin of oil in a Subaru. I recently changed the valve cover gaskets, and grommets, and have no oil leaks that I know of. thanks
  2. Funny, i modified mine to do just the opposite. i wanted to have the roof open with the shade closed (we have a large dog and the extra air flow when parked she lovesss) it is not that difficult to get the sunshade off.. if you are fairly mechanically inclined. I can email you the service bulletin that gives a step by step to removing it.
  3. I had the same issue with my outback. i then changed the spk plug grommets, and valve cover gaskets and that solved the oil on the plug wires. I was told that is a fairly common thing to have to change after time.
  4. Hello, I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience in using these plus in a Subaru of about the same year. In my classic car these plugs are amazing but that is a very old big V8. They are more expensive than the standard plugs and want to make sure that it would be worth it. thanks
