  1. Your going to get a lot of different opinions on this. Some will say yes you can plug it others will say its necessary dont plug it . I personally have done it a few times with no ill effects.
  2. Welcome A name off the carb would help, Probably better off going on Ebay to get a Weber 32/36 and a Carb adapter plate to mount it on your EA 82. Do a search on Weber swap on this board as there are tons of threads on the subject.
  3. Salut si bine ati venit! Aceasta este o maşină frumoasă.
  4. I'm sure someone here knows a little about them. Stick around this is a great forum with lots of great people. I to like Romy AK 47s and sks
  5. Would like to see Photos of it if you can. I cant help with the problems you have but it sounds like a neat car. By the way I own a 1954 Romanian Mosin Nagant M44 rifle. It is my favorite firearm in my collection.
  6. I and many other people have their disty hooked directly from the port on the weber without going through the Thermo switch and they run fine. Every weber on a sube I have ever had was hooked like that with no problems. The EGR may need it but the disty does not.
  7. Also use a piece of white chalk to mark the flywheel at 11 BTDC so when the light hits it you can see it better.
  8. The hose that comes from the Radiator on the drivers side goes onto a steel pipe that goes into the water pump that is where that O ring is located..
  9. Here ya go. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=126868&highlight=head+gaskets I did it on my EA82 and it worked great.
  10. Did you drink to much when you wrote that. LOL:drunk: Those empty bolt holes have nothing to do with his problem. You can clearly see that the EGR pipe is not threaded in thus causing a Vacuum leak and also expelling exhaust gas around the threads.
  11. Mine is bent like that. Park is between P&R R is N, D is 2.
  12. That is the EGR tube. Tighten the side thats on the intake because its causing an intake Vacuum leak.
  13. Check the connector on the CTS first. They are known to get corroded and not make proper contact.
  14. Welcome! Probably the second most ask question on this board. Use the search function and you will find 100s of pages on the subject.
  15. Happy Easter from W.V Where Subaru's are few and far between.
  16. Try tightening the axle nut more. Breaker bar with a 3 foot pipe and stand on it, Jump on it if the cotter key doesn't quite lines up with the next slot in the nut..
  17. Try the trick where you put 100 psi in each cylinder (one at a time of course) and look in the Radiator for bubbles.
  18. I leave my light switch on all the time and my car starts with no problem.
  19. Since the ignition has to be on for the lights to work then it should only be a matter of temporally jumping the right wires for them to stay on while the car is started.
  20. Check the O ring on the pipe that goes into the water pump.
  21. Thats why silcone should not be used anywhere near oil.
  22. Take either a chisel or flathead screw driver up against the bent piece on the left in the photo and hit it with a hammer. Or get a pair of vice grips on it and pull it off.
