desertsubaru replied to msteel's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
They dont look like rear struts they look like front struts. -
If you do take the A/C off at least you lose some extra pounds. Nice car
-
Nobody did say what wheel struts work on what. Like will a 91 ea 82 4x4 wagon strut work on a 86 ea 82 4x4 wagon. I did search but couldnt find it.

Or maybe a pinched tube. Had mine get under the spare tire and got pinched off. -
Heater core!

If the tires are good on them tell the person selling them to give you 50$ for them and you will make sure they get recycled. AFTER you beat the crap out of them untill they pop!

If you stripped the stud in the drum then you have to get them cut off. Then just knock out old studs and replace with new ones. Had this problem one time when i was offroading and got a flat. only thing i had was a chisel. Had to sit there for hours to slowly chew off the nuts then had to walk to auto parts store about 10 miles to get new studs and nuts.

I hate to kill anything, but the mice around here carry off my traps eat the food and return the traps unsprung. If i get one in my sights im going to blast them with my new reproduction 1851 navy .44 colt black powder. I did get the one that was getting in the sube but i have them in my house to. Dont help that we have horeses, chickens and emus. Draws them in. (No they are not in the house)! -

I will trade you that spider for the mouse that keeps getting in my car at night and eating my rolliads. That mouse wont ever have heartburn. Dosent live there just comes in to eat rolliads then leaves. Spiders in some cultures are good luck so i try not to kill them unless they can harm me(aka widows brown recluse). So leave it be it will lay its eggs soon and die, then you will have thousands of good luck charms. Did you know they have found spiders 30.000 feet in the air? They let them thaw out and they came back to life. -
Cat poked out, egr stuff like. I run my carbed model with no pcv,egr and even pluged that steal tube that comes from the head to the intake not worried about passing because i dont have it in my area. Allso what about air control valve?

Im new to the world of ECUs because my 86 wagon dose not have one. and the legacy never had any codes. Any help would be great. Buy the way she is real cute! Seafoam works well. Just did my tri monthly clean out with it and have allready got better power and milage. I dumped about a third of a can down my carb while it was running, reving the engine enough so it didnt stall, turned off car let sit for ten minutes started back up rev untill smoke stopped and wala clean upper half.

A good place to get tanks and lines are at motorhome junk yards. A lot of 80s rvs where propane so they have tanks and some times you can get good lines to. even if the rv wasent lpg it should still have a large tank for the stove and heater. Only bad thing is in winter it can freeze so you should insulate tank and lines.
