  1. This year's event will be co-sponsored by Xtreme Offroad Magazine. The faithwheelers and Xtreme Offroad Magazine will be building a brand new rock crawl obstacle this year. This will be for the hard core rigs and buggies - similar to a UROC style obstacle. The event as always is still FREE to all participants and spectators. We'll have 2 mud bogs this year. For the 35" and under rigs, we'll have a classic mud bog. For the big rigs, look out!. This isn't a balls to the walls mud bog, you'll need to be able drive as well. They'll be hidden logs on diagonals to wake you up. You'll need to climb out of one section and then drop right back into a deep water hole followed by some off-cambered section section and finally - if you can get out of the "hole that Markus built"... you deserve some kudos! Here's a big of a guy getting out last year. The Obstacle Course is built for the smaller rigs, under 35" tires. We're going to be rebuilding much of this so I'm not sure what's going to be new till we start digging and building. It will be designed so that a stock 4x4 can find lines to get through but may need some tugs, but there will be some challenging line options to make it interesting for ANYONE. Here's a pic of a rig going through pothole alley last year. The Tuff Truck Course is the same course that the Webfooters will be using on their playday in May. However, it will be tweaked and a few obstacle changed around. Plan on it being tougher that last year and EXPECT to not make it through without a winch or tug. The rock pile from last year is being revamped as well. Last year only 1 rig made it through and he flopped twice on the way. Pre-registration is not required, but it will save time and we give you a free raffle ticket for doing so. We have raffle prizes from Skyjacker, Warn, PullPal, Crane, Northridge 4x4, High Angle Driveline, ARB and more! http://www.faithwheelers.com  BTW, we have Subaru friendly courses!
  2. An update on the event. The course is wet, so the mud will be awesome. For you big tire, big motor guys, this is a fun event. If you're not running 35s and lockers, the big obstacle course wouldn't make sense (but nor does most of the stuff we do wheelin'. However, the smaller obstacle course would still be a blast! It's all the same stuff, just smaller. We have also picked up some great raffle prizes and decided to put these online to purchase if you can't make it to the event. http://207.202.208.243/faithwheeler...raffle_list.htm
  3. BTW, even if you don't have a rig to compete, you can just come and watch! It's still free!
  4. Not hard to pass UNLESS you're in the comp class. The street/trail class is pretty straight forward. Make sure the battery is clamped down, seat belts are in place, there's a fire extinquisher (which you should have if you wheel anyway) and a helmet. Roll cages are ONLY required for non hard top rigs and pick up without doors. Oh year, you have to have insurance to be in the street/trail class.
