  1. Hey man how have you been doing? I read below how you lost your living space and everything. If you ever need to come by to get on the phone or computer for a while or otherwise need any other help you know where to find me.

    thanks Jeremy

  2. Ok cool, i wouldnt mind getting me an old suby sooner or later. Right now I have a dune buggy made out of an 84 subaru wagon so that is pretty cool.

  3. Hello, welcome to USMB. If you could post some pics of that wagon that would be awesome. You dont see too many of those old wagons on the the road these days. I used to have one like yours only it was an 81 so different body style.

    thanks Jeremy

  4. Well i sold my mazda for $500. I know you probly would want any really nice suby you see for an amazing price but i was gonna ask if you happen to see any 4wd subaru for sale in the $500 range let me know. I miss having a subaru car LOL.

  5. http://www.free-ebooks.net/files/pdf/676SA.pdf Here is that sabot assassin article i was telling you about. A friend of mine on a gun forum wrote it. Let me know what you think.
  6. So im getting prety close to getting a title for the mazda and selling it and one idea came into my head on what i could spend it on.... an ej22. You think it would be a worth while investment to get on of those to drop into the buggy? One thing i need to figure out is if it would need the frame modified to fit in there because by the looks of it that ea81 motor is already fairly tight in there. Im not really 100% sure if im going to go this route or not but i figure the buggy would be nice with a little more power. Do you think this could be done withing a budget of around $600?

  7. I replaced the postive cable which was absolutely trashed but i suppose the negative cable could be bad as well. You are right about one thing and that is leaving the wires out in the elements does cause a lot of corrosion to wires. i honestly didnt getta do anything with it today as i went to Worley with the family and went firework shopping then mom went to the casino and got carried away with that LOL. Well ill work on that tommorow and pray it makes some sort of difference and hopefully i can figure out why on earth it aint getting spark. If you have time one of these days would you mind stopping by and seeing if there is any obvious reason i aint seeing of why it aint getting spark? Ive been dying to getta take that thing out to the trails and go wheeling now that weve finally had some decent weather.

    thanks Jeremy

  8. Well the confusing part is when i checked the old disty cap it was obviously bad. The piece of metal that connects to the rotor had fallen off and was resting in the tray of the disty. It appears the coil has power though it must not or something else was wrong cause when i tested it there was absolutely no spark. For no i cant even get the starter or fuel pump to turn which seeing as how everything seems where it should be and tight is an anomaly all on its own.

  9. Well a bit ago i got a new disty cap for the buggy. got it in there and it still wont get spark. now none of the electrical is working either for some reason. Im gonna try taking a multimeter to it and seeing where its failing at tommorow. I did get the mazda runing good but id much rather be in a subaru LOL.

  10. Hey this may be a long shot but if there happens to be a category for full sized trucks i have an idea for a derby vehicle. A friend of mine has a 70 something chevy truck thats a real rust bucket for $125. It has a good 4 speed transmission and he claims the motor works but needs a carby and an oil pump. Im not sure if this is what your looking for but i figured id ask worst you can say is hell no LOL. Im actually considering getting it if the motor is good because those old 292 i6 motors are major torque monsters and we all know a good 4 speed chevy transmission is a valuable commodity in the offroad world.

  11. Hey i was wondering if you are any good at dealing with vaccum lines? I got this mazda b2200 that currently has a weber the last owner did a crappy job at installing and the idle (or lack there of) is having issues. I tried advancing the distributor and it didnt make a difference and then i pulled out the distributor advance vaccum line and it ran exactly ther same which leads me to believe it has a massive vaccum leak somewhere. You think if i took it by your house some time you could give me a hand tracing back all the lines?

  12. yeah I will be ready. ill start packing LOL

  13. Yeah well i suppose we dont need to bother trying to fit that in a wagon. I know the limits of my wagon and it wouldnt fit a dirtbike in it LOL. I do have a nice single shot 12 gauge i just fixed up ive been meaning to getta try out and ill be glad to take that for everyone to fire off some shots if you want.

  14. Im not sure if it would fit in there or not. its an 86 tt350 so it is a pretty big bike. If you take your brat it should probly fit but if you take your wagon that would be pretty tight. Luckily i got enough tie downs do that should help. If you dont think you can dont worry bout it i can hopefully convince my dad to give me a ride over in the truck or something. Thanks for the help.

    Jeremy

  15. LOL i typically wave at any old subaru i see going down the road then a bit later i remembered you bought something like that. Speaking of dirtbikes i was wondering if i cant take my buggy to the run would it would be ok if i took the dirtbike for the run if i cant take the buggy.

  17. Heyi think i saw you going down bruner the other day in that blue suby you got. I was on a dirtbike at the time. If so glad to see that thing going good.

  18. I know ill be free to go then if i can tag along but its still up in the air on whether or not i can get a trailer for the buggy.

  19. I have a subaru dune buggy type thing made out of a subaru brat. It has an ea81 with a 4 speed dual range. If you like some pics shoot me an email at brumbyracer420@gmail.com or if you do fb you can add me under jeremy gerhardt and see the pics there.

  20. Ok sounnds good. I do have a friend whos into subarus (he built the frame for my buggy) and i can see if hed be interested in coming with us if youd like. For now i need to get me a disty cap for the buggy that works. Anyways you can call/text me at 208 625 1312 and ill keep ya filled in on if i can find a trailer.

  21. Hey i would be interested in attending that 4wd meet but in order to go ill have to try and scrounge up a trailer since the buggy is pretty far from street legal. Anyways ill let ya know if i can get one in time.

    thanks Jeremy

  22. Yeah same here man had a lot of work going on lately. For now what i seriously need to do is get a working battery for my buggy. hate to say so but lately the thing has kinda taken a back seat since ive been working on my mazda truck (for sale soon here) and my dirtbike. still need to take it out. just sucks not having a single top post battery in your possession LOL

  23. Yeah i have a shooting range in my backyard as twitch saw when he went there to find the masive piles of shells LOL. Would there be any chance youd be able to make it up to moyie because i plain on going and hopefully taking the buggy. its on may 6th and 7th and its a blast. My friend Rob (uberoo) is taking his suby up there. it now has a divorced transfer case and efi in it. Here is a video of him doing some offroading back when it was stock

Speaking of which im not sure whether or not he still has them but he had a set of 26 inch tractor tyres mounted to suby wheels he was selling for $150. those would make some awesome trail tyres for ya.
  24. Yeah no kidding. ive actually owned enough ea81 vehicles and though i loved them all i think this time around id like to own something like the loyale you have or possibly something with an ej in it. who knows at this time but ill find something i enjoy. As you may or may not have known im an insane gun nut and love all things the go boom and fire so im think i may go buy myself a couple cool little boom sticks and have some fun with those tell i have the need for a subaru this winter :)
