  1. Ok. Thanks. That's funny. I thought there was no such thing as too cool when it came to autos. My next question is: which of the 2 lines is the return? I'm assuming it's the lower one.
  2. Can I bypass the cooler in the radiator all together or do I have to install it like a secondary like the instructions show??? Oh. I'm wanting to put an aftermarket trans cooler on my legacy.
  3. It's funny cause I thought I was buying a non runner. The car had been sitting for 3 years cause it needed cv axles. And over that period of time fuses were pulled and the upper coolant hose got jacked. Plus the guy told me the starter was going out. Well there was nothing wrong with the starter. I put in a battery and upper coolant hose and drove her home.
  4. It was one of those 45 amp fuses under the hood. I have no clue why no parts stores stock them.
  5. I popped a fuse that no one has in stock and I may have to tow my Subaru legacy awd home. Is it safe??? Need to go about 4 miles
  6. Sorry dude. I pitched it cause it got a little messed up during removal. Some of the bolts decided not to come out so they pulled through. Messed up the mounting holes.
  7. I'm going from 14 to 15 inch rims on my Subaru and I need to know the correct tire size please.
  8. he wants 1000 firm

  9. Thanks. Took a bit of body ice to fill the spots where the rack mounts were. Now I'm gonna get different rims. I hate these steelies. I have some 15 inch American racing rims with universal 5 lug, but they don't fit my car. I'm gonna go to the junk yard and see if they will trade.
  10. some more recent work: removing the old seats and carpet underneath all that 3 bucks in change. no joke! all scrubbed up New seats and carpet Eliminated my roof rack to make her look sportier:
  11. Anything I should know before I do??? And I want to remove it cause it's fugly. Well. The operation was a success. Pics to come soon.
  12. Yeah. My buddy goes to Oregon to race. Washington has notracks. And rally is more interesting to me anyway.
  13. Got it. Successful timing belt installation. And I have the second style tensioner
  14. The hydraulic tensioner is being stupid. It pushed out and now I can't get the timing belt back on. Help please.
  15. If I can afford to get into it I'll show ya. My buddy had gotten this Honda up to 110 in some of the races he's been in. If I get this career job at firestone I'll be able to afford to go once in a while on my free time. Hey. What about rally??? I always thought it's more fun.
  16. Yes I know. Thank you. But, is the car gonna stop speeding up when I hit 100 like most cars do??? Sorry for beeing a nag about this subject. I'd find out for myself but my timing kit won't be here for a week.
  17. Just wondering about top speed capabilities. A buddy of mine does autocross with his Honda and I wanted to get in on some, but didn't know if I would have to wait till I swapped to a manual.
  18. Woo hoo!!!! New seats and carpet for my suby then to destroy the old smelly smoked up craps
