  1. yea, i was replace new felpro but somehow have damage head gasket and milky coolant becuz of i was re-toque also over-tight after three steps.. so, B/A head-gasket should be re toque or not? i'm ask how much ft lb for head cycle bolts? i've been spend $ for three times, new head cycle also 8 times rebuilding on ea82. because of there was badly leaky (head cycle block, master cam-lobe leaky and oil pan leaky) im totally Polish.
  2. -well, it's pretty easy rebuilding carb, but you have to perfectly rebuilding car, it's hard to telling how to perfectly for carb cuz, i don't want to over-tight would cause high idle rpm when after rebulding. but i ask you, there have a three different carb (fuel injection, regular carb and turbo carb)? check out photo thats what my fuel injection carb...
  3. should i re toque on Subaru BECK/ARNLE- head gasket on EA82? how much ft lb on nine bolts. step one- 25 ft lb step two- 43 ft lb step three- 47 ft lb after to step four to nine is 56 ft lb?

  5. ever you repair new Radiator Fan? thats would be up to 2-3 mpg. (any subaru)

  7. MilesFox-Intake Manifold Gasket? i was removed old gasket and never used it, but why? NoahDL88- No, i was plan to put 2 new jug coolants for AC cooler...so, i was just pour coolant half during ea82's running but somehow my ea82 just shut down and coolant's smoked from under the exhaust. There is dripping coolant/oil from cycle head block (under the exhaust), too. whats best number of compression test?? maybe i was put too much rubber seal on the thermostat without gasket cause choke from coolant? or no difference?
  8. recently; i was replace for new head gasket after that i put a parts on the ea82. when i was pour the oil into ea82...there was pretty good running but somehow my ea82 a little hot becuz of without coolant. so, i was pour half of coolant however the motor was shakey/stop became smoke from coolant and i try start it but wont start it like a stuck! what the hell thats coming from, EA82 is very small motor but nonsense!? i need help before i leaving to vacations w my gf.
  9. you need new Vapor Canister!!! it would be help to boom mpg. i was buy cost $105 and it's worth it! and pour to gas treatment too
  10. ok, thank you. i did take off the head cycle block, cam shaft block, valve cover for now. tomorrow ill going to torque on the head cycle block without re-torque. i did put on the rubber seal on the intake manifold without gasket, it is ok for it or have to but new gasket for intake manifold? thank for show photo and message. message back.
  11. holler Northernwestern; it's right- if i re-torque the head gasket on EA82 or must one time torque? because of my ea82 wont starting and stuck, there have a some water inside cycle from spark plug (spark plug had a wet on it) because of i was re-torque make the gasket wont let the coolant into? my head gasket is Fel-Pro Step 1 nut- 22 ft lb step 2 nut- 42 ft lb step 3-9 nut- 47 ft lb. i have a Haynes book. it's right torque ft lb for my head gasket replace? please help.
  12. my wagon is 3.900 final drive ratio. whats different between 3.700 or so?
  13. use a common sense. do not over tight of oil filter, thats would be cause high oil pressure. just do a little tighty and see A LITTLE drop oil...not a leakkyy/drip oil.
  14. i think you was over tight oil filter. need little tight 3/4 turn and see a little drip oil. because of need a air oil pressure out. I was have a problem with my oil pressure highly to 90...cuz i was stupid do over-tight from oil filter. best luck. Cruz oil must be on 5-30 for EA81/82 and save money your fuel economy.
  15. my head gasket is fit on ea82! no problem! i've new learn lesson which for kind the head gasket. thats why i got a mistake head gasket's EA81 on my EA82 cause flood coolant becuz of choke. actually i was throw away my older head gasket from 2 months ago... im idoit. whats town you were live in Ore?
  16. no wonder... my old gasket is wrong ( i was replaced 2 months ago)...my coolant was eating sudden sometime hard to starter, somehow saw pool out the spark plug out...blown gasket. EA82 is my engine for my correctly head gasket . so, im going open it and install it. not ea81 for head gasket... thank you!

  18. i have two compare of head gaskets here's photos. my wagon is 1987 Suba GL 4wd D.R. EA82 1.8L with Fuel injection. this is new gasket but you see my finger point and different bottom too? it's correctly for head gasket on my ea82? i don't want to open, mistake and waste money. and leaky.. this was old blow gasket leaky.. you notice different design bottom? there will going leaky badly? should i install it on ea82? message me. thanks

  20. on the right side passage; head cycle was flood from coolant seem stuck cant going trough into and there's leaky coolant from muffler (Catalytic Converter).. But other left driver; head cycle is good, no leak, no coolant flood in the pinon. EA82 1987 subaru GL wagon 4wd. i was buy two new headgasket from o'reilly store. how much torque ft lb after 3 step bolts?
