should i put rubber seal glue on the head cycle gasket? because of i was put pretty alot on the head cycle gasket and there have a flood coolant by pinion and spark plug. because of wont fire it....:-\ im wonder if torque on the head cycle bolt after 3 step is 45-50FT lb? not over-tight?

which one wire? you mean- black and yellow to negative terminal? u have any know abt start motor connectors and brown wire? sorry i dont get it.

Hello NorthernWestern!:-\ i have a few problem...i was take out the engine of EA82 from my wagon and do rebuilding. Somehow a brown wire just snap out, but i don't know where put connect on it because of my starter switch is not on the electronic even start it too. I'm confused wire which to connect. i need your photo for ** Starter Motor connect which one right ** two wire (yellow/black wire to battery block?) ** (brown wire I'm unknow where that from) HERE IS MY PHOTOS that what i have a serious issue! HELP ME. Black/Yellow Wire to battery negative? or not? that's where i found it and don't know where that from. while i was take out from engine EA82. so, where that coming from? IF you have a EA82 87' Subaru GL wagon--Check on your engine and take photo or explain to me. thats only i need to know before road trip....

i have a good boat 13' with 15hp but i dont know how much weight my boat. look like under a ton. im wonder what kind for good hitch bar on my 87' suba wagon EA82? so, i can buy for new hitch bar.

There have a 9 bolts from on the head cycle for must right kind torque ft lb . for replace head gasket; First 1st on the middle bolt do on 21-25 ft lb, 2nd on the top of right and by the middle blot do on 42-45 ft lb, 3rd on the top of left by and middle blot do on 48-51 ft lb, 4th on the below of right corner blot do on the 80-85 ft lb, 5th on the below of left corner do on the 80-85 ft lb, 6th on the top of left corner blot do on same 80-85 ft lb, 7th on the top right corner blot do on the other same 80-85 ft lb, 8th on the middle right blot do on the 80-85 ft lb and last of 9th on the left blot do same and same the 80-85 ft lb. that wont be get blown head cycle / gasket and COOLANT. hopefully you understand?

10-18ft/lbs, oka. im plan for for it. my timing belt is tight as fair. it's all good.

just put whole upper of the tensioner make a belt tightly? not a middle on the bolts tensioner make a fair tight?

I WAS REPLACED FOR NEW TIMIING BELT. I WONDER IF THATS OKA IF TIGHTY ON THE TIMING BELT (LIKE AS ALTERNATOR BELT) OR ALITTLE LOSE TIMING BELT? BECAUSE I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH TIGHT? LET ME KNOW AS SOON. GO NothernWestern!

anyone who like to photo on your Manifold EA82? i need to know which right for hose connect by EGR Vacuum...

check anything the hose, even small hose (near carb & water pump) without leaky from coolant. maybe you did over-tight hose with steel clamp cause leaky? there have a badly leaky oil?
