87 suba gl FI 4wd; When I start it or idling there's pretty low pressure oil pump (0-5psi) also rough idling too. But running to drive city/hwy there's good oil pressure (45psi) I did repair oil pump gasket.. But you think need repair oil pressure sender sensor or oil pump. Heres' video. Thanks

Alright, thank for informatics. Yeah, xt6 is more sense for ej22. But however ill leave on gl 4x4 clutch kit ej22, anyway. End of thread.

Actually we already put gl clutch w tranny and put into the vehicle. So... Seem like too late than waste time for pull out and spend for xt6 clutch kits Because of my local technician said never use gl clutch from ej22... Will have a bad slipping problem? When have gl clutch than xt6... Any who experican use gl clutch w ej22? Thanks

This color... I've been nervous for installed/hookup on 87' subaru gl but it's make me cousfused. I use book Haynes of chassis ele systems (1987 subaru gl TBI) Ea82 color wire; Check engine' brown wire 'Tachometer' yellow 'Stater' red blue 'Fuel pump' blue white 'Ecu backup' ??? 'Hot run power' black white or red yellow 'Hot all time' red or white? Actually; I really need to help. Ej22 wire should be hook up on GL's fuse box? What SPFI or MPFI control unit look like? Also where tachometer look like?

It's does not help. Most of those links don't help because they're old websites. Yes, I see that all info for swap. But I need right way to hook up ea82 fuse box from ej22 harness. I notice not really a lot of info for swap harness hookup to ea82 wires..

Hey. There's 1984 Subaru gl FWD 5 speed manual. Cali emission. There have leaky of fuel.. After rebuilding gasket kits. I'm wonder any can fit other year? I have 87 subaru carb but know that can't fit on intake manifold. Or wanted carburetor. It's hard to find to fit than compare other 4WD carb. Thanks.

There's 98 outback dohc automatic transmission. There's everything are good running and only can drive forward. But can't go to reverse when outback are stay and high rpm. It's bad torque converter? Thanks!

Hey Northernwestern! My buddy give me 4.111 driveline from 91 legacy. Wonder can swap fit to 87' GL to 3.900 driveline ratio? Before rebuilding 4.111ratio.

Got you. We going order. Last question should put new radiator BEFORE ej22 engine put into the GL?

Which one should I buy one or two row in the radiator for ej22 engine on GL? Should installed radiator before engine and transmission put into or after? What's size for upper and lower hose? Thanks.

Hello NorthernWestern! My wagon front hubs wheels are worn out. So, I tend use range dual 4 wheels for only running RWD to avoid front wheel drive. ???? So, I was looking the internet it's way cost than I thought. But I did repair hub wheel from junk yard but I does twice. I want to know any links for cheap and new hub wheel. Thanks!

Howdy; I was repair head gasket kit. And I see the air suction valve on the right head (Califorina design of emission) so, I see this part is broke and should I put blot plug 1"ish on right head'a exhaust? Also can help me for shortcut/remove vaccum and there's crazy hose on the intake manfolid. Thanks

Hey. ea82 carb motor was pull out and plan to swap to ej22 motor in loyal. But... Need to change fuel pump w fuel injection than fuel pump carb? Just need to know as soon. Thanks.

Howdy Northernwestern ! My car are ea82 f.i. I have been annoy when I start up when cold engine and reach to 2000rpm and I have to alittle fighting on the gas pedal to became normal ideling when the engine warm. It's annoy when I start up and leave the warm up but still there high rpm and waste the fuel also loud idling which is I don't like. I was put 50/50 coolant into the engine. But I know that this coolant make a hard to get warmer engine effect to high rpm? Or hose, PVC, EGR or what. Thanks.

When I was repair overhaul head gasket kits. Somehow, my book said that TDC use on adjustment valves #1 and # 3 cylinder intake/exhaust. And then 180deg use on adjustment #2 and #4 cylinder intake and exhaust? ^It's make me not sense right^ In: .25m Ex: .35m Or Just give me right way for adjustment. Cuz I didn't understand what my manual book said.. Help and thanks!

Hello NorthernWestern! i know that; EJ's motor mount seem cant fit on GL's cross frame. so, have to do drilling for hole? or have to take off the legacy cross frame swap to GL? or give me correctly advised. **I could keep bother you guys for our project but i really like to make it for my goal. P.S. im hearing impaired which is my English grammar is my 2nd language. thanks
