  1. try go to napa machine shop (if you can pull out engine) or mobile mechanic.. for repair woodruff key. that's pretty sick. im end of thread.
  2. look like happen to same mines. !wobbing! look like nut, eh? you need new crankshaft pully and maybe new crankshaft...look like damage 'key'. but i dont want said it... go to subaru dealership..it's alot money and it's not fun for pay. :-\ P.S. go to junkyard...way better for it.
  3. ah, i hate heard about it... i will pull out engine on next week and removed oil pan see there, if damage. i will take photos...and tear down...cuz it's cinch (easy). thank for help for it...ill keep post it on next week. thank, master!
  4. yes, thats right. any idea you know about it? when i driving and i feel like a *POP, POP, POP* hard to acceleration during city. but highway went to good but still noise.
  5. how much miles yours? `check cv joint boot if there crack? `alternator belt worn out or maybe bearing bad? `power steering pump/rack pinon broke or burn? > (i dont think so) `muffler system leaky rust (hole) because of your hometown use slat rock for ice road during winter? maybe check coolant...can be low became overheat your engine...but you're common sense.
  6. i was repair fuel injection o-ring kits. somehow i was start but there stuck like a lock becuz of flood...so, waiting around 10 mins later...i start again and there got a noise lately. (maybe pinion damage?t) before i was repair head gasket... top is intake camshaft. bottle is exhaust camshaft. (both of them) valve lash....mmmm...maybe mess it up?

  8. flex plate? maybe it's bend? i think so... cuz i was use long drive into flex plate for removed crankshaft pully. but im highly doubt.
  9. yes, i does drain oil and there nothin damage from metal...but i smell gas mix with fuel.. i dont think there no pinion slap... so, i have to check tensioner on tomorrow. if so...how i can get problem solving for tensioner? just need tighter blots or adjuster?
  10. should i use AMETECH ENGINE RESTORE? will less noise? when i driving...i can feel like a slap! slap during city! but highway do good. so, it's piston slap..
  11. ok, i will going to drain oil on tomorrow, if there have a damage 'gold' metal. with my magnet.. also ill removed the timing belt cover, but recently, i repair new timing belt kits.
  12. new wires, spark plugs.... i use the spark plug clamp into voltmeter said 2 and 3 cycle said RPM zero? compare other 1,200-1500RPM on 1 and 4 cycle is good? spark plug is lose but i doubt it?
  13. 260k 96' EJ25 DOCH i hear pretty loud like a (ding!, ding!, ding! as over a again) i use the voltmeter ohms on COIL...there said's 'OL' on cycle 2 and 3...look like misfire the engine like a shakey... should i use video and let you hearing abt it? THANKS, master subaru.
  14. Holler, I have a little problem my coolant manifold's leaky. So, I already got new pair of rubber o- ring on it... But can put on the rtv on it, like a little on it? Before put intake manifold.
  15. make me shame. why not use diesel boxer. BRZ is ugly and bad emission.
  16. there have a leaky fuel inject #4 should buy new o-oring and will not get leaky the gas? thanks.
