  1. 60 mph cruise control on 34MPG. Bend, Oregon To Sac, CA. (480miles)
  2. coolant is fill up. i know what you mean..i smell nothing as sweet from muffler. there is WHITE smoke smell as GAS from muffler. spark plug taste as gas. maybe fuel injection had blow also very old..it's look dirty..and burn... make a gas burn to smoke-out?
  3. timing belt is work and new kits... when i was pull out the fuel injection and there have a gas pour out into intake...look like going to flood..
  4. there have a crack rubber boots on the rack pinion...there have a leaky? i think Rooster2 and 1 Lucky Texan is right.
  5. 1996 outback wagon EJ25 DOHC. when i was installed new head gasket...everything is great. --somehow there sound like a misfire and alot of smoke out and smell like a real GAS. i wont going driving anywhere because of smoke whole anywhere. it's fuel injection bad? or camshaft error upside (intake and exhaust).. top is intake camshaft. bottom is exhaust camshaft. help me...

  10. try check OHM on fuel injector into crab? 12.8-14.5 OHM. also check o2 sensor or fuel pump but maybe they're right.

  12. you mean.. 90 deg lose on 1-6step back to 90 deg tight on 1-6 step then lose 90 deg again and then back to tight on 90 deg? 25 ft lb on 1-2 step 11 ft lb on 3-6 step.. it's make a sense?
  13. 1996 outback wagon 2.5 DOCH after i replaced pair of headgasket.. so, running was pretty good and drove to 25 miles.. somehow the muffler was whiteout of everywhere... look like failure headgasket?? but it's engine running good but look like shake and misfire to me 25 ft lb 51 ft lb 90 lose 90 lose 25 ft lb on 1-2 step 11 ft lb on 3-6 step.. it's correctly?
  14. i thought so... because of camshaft is queen also crankshaft is king too. than timing's belt is joker... all i just want to make be sure which is follow alignment than belt's maker. im going focus on camshaft alignment than belt said so... because of i used old Subaru timing belt and there dont have a maker on it.. thank, master of suba end of thread.
  15. it's sohc. mine is dohc.. i think belt is mess it up.. i've been try to perfect on the white marker but there skip 2 or 3 teeth...it's joker belt than Queen sprocket. crankshaft's sprocket is king. what if not follow the white maker belt than camshaft's sprocket alignment?
  16. wonder if have to follow, timing-Belt's white marker alignment OR Have to follow camshaft's sprocket alignment? because i notice belt's white marker away from 2-3 teeth off than camshaft alignment. or it's wrong belt?
  17. end of thread. head gasket had melt it before i pour coolant.
  18. bad guest winding and engine became swing drop off (crack) by the cherry picker hoist. 0_0 hopefully running ok.
  19. when i repair head gasket and everything part on it, you know. can fire it up without coolant for 1-2 min. then while i pour coolant during the running? i dont know cuz it's will burn gasket?
  20. but last time i was drove pretty good and i decide to repair head gasket because of there was bad lacky by oil..
