Tom, you jackass! The conn rod didn't shatter! What happened is the guy I bought it from spun a rod bearing, and I think he may have driven it home afterwards. I pulled the oil pan and found chunks of piston skirt. It doesn't appear to the naked eye to have any damage to the cylinder or crank, but I'm sure a crank polish and a cylinder hone would be at least required.

The spare is a Turbo motor, but the connecting Rod shattered and is pretty well crap besides all pull-off parts etc.

Would you possibly take 2500 without the spare motor and tranny. You shouldnt have a problem getting close to what you want selling those other 2 items if the motor is a turbo one.
