Hey I know someone that has a EA81 Dual Carb Setup with intake, Linkage and everything. How much would that be worth?

Yeah i've thought about doing the spfi swap but ill probably just pick up a weber and get rid of some of that vacuum

Hey guys I am having some issues with my carb. It will start and run perfect when the engine is cold and idle perfect but once it runs for a little bit and warms up it will not idle it all and just dies.I can usually start it back up and it will rev just fine but will not idle. Every once in awhile though I will try to start it and it just cranks like it is flooded or something. What could it be?

Hey can anyone help me? Im trying to rewire my ignition because it crapped out on me. I dont know which Ignition wires are which, there are 5 wires ones black which im 99.9% sure is the ground, and there is a blue one that I get power to when I hook the positive wire to the + on the coil but I only get headlights, no heater or anything.... so im guessing that is just my on/off? and not my acc? which one is my starter wire? and which is my 12v? and also my acc if anybody knows? Just trying to get it going again I have to drive it to work friday... :-\

Haha yeah glad im not in seattle... Last night driving home from work was pretty epic. First time I had my subaru in 3-4 inches of snow... Peopled were freaking out everywhere.. My subaru doesn't even have my snow tires on yet... and I was steady mobbin through the snow and ice like it was nothing!! Kinda reminds me of driving a forklift... And Im thinkin I need to go build me some custom bumpers for the front and back just in case some idiot decides to slide into the back of my car. Watched some guy almost get taken out by a lifed chevy... locked his brakes up at the stop sign and almost slid right into the front of it. Haha there had to have been only about half a foot between the guys front bumper and the truck... Yeah and safe journeys guys...

Heres some pics for ya =D She sure isn't pretty though haha Once it starts getting warm out im going to do some body work and prep for paint. Has anybody ever taken off the side molding off and filled it? Was wondering how it would look. Also planning on toyota 6 lug or 15" Peugeot rims and probably 4" to 6" lift. Also Ive got a dual carb setup off an 80's model brat set aside for it too... Eventually will rebuild with 1600cc pistons... I read that the 84' and up heads flow the best? Anything else you guys would do?

Alright so I have got an 84 Subaru GL that the ignition is completely destroyed in.So I have the back half of the ignition out and I start it with a screwdriver everytime I drive it. the area I live in is pretty bad on car theft and I want to wire the ignition so it is a little less likely to get stolen. I dont want to just replace it because with stock ignition it is a piece of cake to steal.. What I have decided on is wiring up a switch ran to my accessory and On/off halfs of my ignition to turn power on and off and a momentary push button for my starter... and run all of the wiring with black wire to my relays and wire it up hidden under my dash or inside of my glove box and locking my glovebox. All wire will be hidden and ran through the back of dash. Goal is that if they hop in and see the wiring disaster under the dash of all black wires they will just say forget it. also Ive considered just wiring up a remote start system straight to my relays and forgetting all of my switches... or I could wire it up with my switchs... Problem is would a remote start system work like that? all I need is a remote 12v to trigger my relays that will be 12v constant until I shut it off with my remote? I also keep a steering wheel lock on it also. What would you guys do? Im kind of leaning towards the remote start. But how would I get it to work?

Hey just got myself an 84' Subaru GL Wagon 4WD. Just drove it for the first time in the snow this morning and I LOVE it!!! I have always been a Toyota fan but now that I have driven this thing I don't quite know anymore... Looking to put quite a bit of work in to because it is pretty beat. Anyways, hoping to enjoy my Subaru for many years to come. Also have a few questions but I will post in the proper forum? "Older Generation of Subarus: 80's/XT/Loyales..." Haha and enjoy the snow.
