  1. No I ran adjustable coilovers insted. Then I put 235 75 15s on it.

  2. Hey hows it going? Did you ever get that 6" lift

  3. Well I got the clutch finished Tuesday. Went and bought a comealong and some chain and hooked it to the roof of my garage. Started pulling the motor at 10am and had the car running again by 7pm with some breaks. Got it all done and test drove it to walmart to return the comealong and chain. Lol. I did the whole job by myself with no help. Not bad at all. Ea82s are very easy to pull.
  4. It was towed on a dolly with the front wheels off the ground. It was in neautral and in 2wd. Nothing is torn up. I think its just time for the clutch to be changed. I will be attempting to remove the motor tomarow to change it out. Does anyone know of a quick way to pull the motor? Some tips or tricks.
  5. Thanks for the help but id really like to do it tomarow. The clutch will be here tuesday so ill start ripping it apart and hope for the best lol. Unless anyone else is close that can swing bye. Really hopeing to meet other subaru nuts in this area.
  6. So i moved from nm to cali. Pulled the car off the dolly and now the clutch is slipping. It slipped pretty bad for acouple days in 3rd and 2nd then it stoped. It didnt slip for acouple days and now its slipping again. Are these signs of the clutch going out? I Didnt have any trouble with the clutch in new mexico it didnt slip at all. Whats the best way for 2 guys to change this clutch with no engine hoist. We will be doing it in a covered garage. 1988 subaru dl 4x4 spfi
  7. Part won't be in untill Tuesday. This is my first clutch job and id prefer doing it with someone that knows what there doing. Please give me a hand.
  8. Is anyone in the area of fairfield ca that can give me a hand changeing out my clutch on my 88 ea82 4x4 wagon. I have a garage. Would like to do it Monday or Tuesday. Shoot me a text at 505 592 3841 chris.
  9. Thanks Guys. Now i plan to finish the paint. Also plan on spraying the rims with some gun metal paint. The 2nd radiator fan would not fit. water pump pully is in the way.
  10. Ok enough waiting. Here she is in all her glory. Need to touch up the paint and fix some of my cutting mistakes. Im going to put a used radiator in it today. Its been running a little warm latley. Also going to add a 2nd stock radiator fan new thermostat and a new waterpump gasket mines leaking. Before After
  11. Ok the 235 75 15s are all on. Almost killed both of my wrists trying to drill the rims out. lol I was able to drill out all of the rims with one 1/2 drill bit and some cutting oil. Cutting and beating the front was easy. Then i got a little carried away cutting the back. I ended up cutting into the car its self. Where the rear windshield washer container is. Ill have to cover the whole back up. and make my cuts look good. Had some random guy on the street tell me it was bad rump roast. And some girl at walmart told me it was awesome and a real chick magnet lol.... Car is mutch slower but i love it. Took it to about 65mph and didnt have any wabbles or shakes.. Will get pics soon
  12. Thanks for the info. If i have to lift it i will. Wheels and tires are going on today.
  13. The 235 75 15s crammed in the dl on the way to my buddys shop to get them mount and balanced Got them all ready to go Just need to drill the rims out and bolt them up And this is the monster lightning hideing behind my subie Rims and tires should be mounted up tommarow. Got lazy today
