Mine was smoking a little wile ago and it was the cv axle the boot cracked and flung grease onto the turbo took me two attempts to steam it off at the car wash lol -
alright i wasnt going to but know that you say so i will go to the dealer tomorrow and pick up factory hoses wile were on the subject of hoses are the silicon intercooler hoses better than the stock rubber ones or do they just look cool just wondering mine are starting to get little cracks on them so they will need replacing soon trying to decide witch to buy

so i just bought a 07 legacey gt and if you leave the head lights on when you turn the car off when you start it again only the driver side light lights up you have to turn the lights off then turn them on again to get them both to light up is this normal with HID's ? oh ya if you pop the trunk then get out of the car and shut your door(with out locking it) the trunk re latches it self is there a way to fix that? makes me want to drive the car off a cliff pain in the a@#
-
oh really that would make sense it used to wine like a pig when i first started it up and would shut up after the car warmed up then one day i popped the hood and jiggled the hoses around and it quit wining now it only wines when i turn if it wasnt snowing i would tare it apart but i dont wanna in the snow ill just drive the wife's car till the weekend
-
well the car started wining as soon as it got cold out side sounded like it was low on oil but its full and not it barely works its in the teens out side and when you look in the reservoir the fluid is all foam maybe i should use atf instead of ps fluid. I dont know anyway the reason i need a new one is because i didnt know you could rebuild them but Im down to try do you have to press any thing off or is it pretty easy to take apart thanks for the info guys

I was just wondering if anyone knew if there was any diffrence between the power steering pump on a 2004 turbo and a non turbo I ask because i can find a powersteering pump for a non turbo but I need one for my turbo baja. is there any other car that would take the same pump I have called all around trying to find a pump the only place that has one is the dealer and they want 500 bucks ouch! napa has one for a non turbo and its 120 but i dont know if it would fit does any one know thnx

hi i have an 04 baja turbo and it has an oil leak right above the oil filter just wondering if this is a common problem and if it is an easy fix just wanting an idea of what im getting my self into if i pull it apart thnx
-
I own both turbo and none the both are great cars. the turbo is an 04 with a 5 speed manual and its a blast to drive always puts a smile on my face the down side to the turbo is the boost is addictive and i average 21mpg witch sucks once I tried really hard and got 25 mpg the non turbo is an 03 and an auto its easy to drive has ok power gets great gas mileage I ccan easily get 30 to 31 mpg and the worst i ever got was 27 but that was driving it really hard hope that helps

really i didnt think those would be considered a classic i still see them as a beater but you should totaly find the body kit the higher model has i think its an rx turbo those look sweet

so i have an baja with an auto trans but i want it to be manual and the car is paid for so rather than sell it and buy a manual i thought maybe i will swap it am i out of my mind or is it do able with out to much headache my worry is the computer issues would there be any im sure there are diff sensors like neutral safty switch and letting the motor now its going not sitting i really want a turbo 5 speed but good luck finding one of those
