  1. Welcome and hope you get your wish and get that wagon. Never give up. Its out there just waiting for you to come along.
  2. I have the owners name and phone number do you want them. I want it as well.
  3. Well there can't be to much of a demand as he had no offers for it.
  4. There was a 79 FE coupe on Ebay in excellant condition and nobody bid for it.I have been in contact with the owner and he still hasn't sold it. How much would they be worth in US dollars. I have seen 86 RX coupes go for about $2000us over there. Over here you can get a mint one for about $2000nz. So has anyone any ideas of how much the FE would go for.
  5. Mint looking 360 on ebay. Does anyone know who brought the two door sedan that was on ebay recently. There is also a mint 79 FE coupe with no bids so far.
  6. Yeh our one was yellow when we got it but it is now subaru cobolt blue. We also have a 74 and it is yellow as well. Seems to be the most popular color. There is a woman not far from me with a red 74 its in the photo gallery. They also look good in silver. But I think they look cool in any color but I'm one eyed.
  7. Well done Elad welcome to the GSR owners club. There are not many of us but alot of people want to be us. Ours has a blown head gasket at the moment but will be fixed very soon. When you get it finished it will turn heads driving down the road.
  8. The first one is a two door sedan. I want it so bad it hurts. Two door sedans must be rear over there are they. All three look in very good condition. So sad they are over there.
  9. The water raises up and overflows and then goes down again it doesn't continuously flow over. The thermostat has been removed and the water pump is working. It just seems to build up pressure , overflow and then go down again. I am stumped.
  10. We found a wire off for the fan. We took the thermostat out, checked the water pump and it is still overflowing out the top and the water is not bubbly when the engine is going. It seems to build up back pressure somewhere and just flows out the cap. I havent heard this happening before for blown head gaskets has anyone else. Maybe a cracked head?.
  11. Thought you could tell us. Never heard of it before on a Subaru. Can you post a photo of it. Maybe its SPORTS RECREATIONAL SUPER CROSS????
  12. I think its loosing water through the radiator cap when it gets pressurised as it gets hot and will just spill out the overflow onto the road.
  13. The GSR is loosing water. Oil is ok and the car is going good except when you stop at the traffic lights and it will blow out water if you have waited to long. While waiting the car over heated and siezed from being to hot. After about two hours it went again ok. Hope it isnt a cracked head. With the radiater cap off while it was idling water over flowed out the cap. I am hoping it is only the thermostat. Your thoughts on this problem please.
  14. What is a rabbit 4 stroke 250cc and what does it look like?
  15. I have a good book on the ea63s and will look it up to see what I can find out for you. I fully reconditioned the GSR motor and I think there are only two seals to each side. Not sure if it goes on the exhaust or inlet valves.
  16. Yeh paul has them and I hope to get him to load them on as for some reason I cant.
  17. All the parts you want are very hard to get and almost impossible. I was lucky enough to get parts I needed off a damaged 74GSR. But the rear lights and front are different but I still managed to get what I needed from a wrecker who is restoring a 74GFT hardtop and has heaps of old parts. Rubbers are the hardest to find in good condition. The turn lens for the 73 is the same as the DL1400 sedans except they had part of the lens clear on some models for park lights. But in saying that I can most likely get the lens and assembly without to much trouble but you are over there and it may cost to much to send the parts over. I am still looking for wing morriors for Elad.
  18. The EA81 is wider than the EA71 as it has a longer stroke to give it the cc rating of 1800. The bellhousing of a EA71 will not fit the EA81. The intake manifold of a EA71 will not fit a EA81. The starter motor is on the top of the EA71 and on the side in the EA81.
  19. Thats a GF or a GFT which is very rare. It would be nice to get a better photo. There is only one on the road over here and I know of one being restored.
  20. I notice it has the factory mud flaps with the subaru emblem(awesome). Look forward to getting mine fixed up to look as good as yours. Very nice don't sell it unless its to me.
  21. Yep have one exactly the same. Very nice example.
  22. Replaced the gaskets in a ea81 in the car and never had any trouble. Went like clockwork.
  23. The car shown is a1972 and they stopped in 74. The 72 was different to the later models and much rearer. The US got the coupe in a GL model I think. You may have to confirm that with Paul. They had a 1400cc motor with twin carbs and in the 72 a staged cam. Front wheel drive only.
