  1. There is no stock 14" Subaru 4x140 rim. At least that I'm aware of. Aftermarket and other manufactures wasn't the original question.
  2. None. 45 seconds of searching and I found you this. http://www.indysworld.com/80s/general/wheels/wheels.html
  3. That was shortly after a slight downhill section. I was checking the engine. :-P I'm surprised about what you say about not being able to reach higher speeds, both the 3at Loyale and my 5 speed GL will cruise on level ground at 85 all day, though the Loyale screams while there. I really did have to push it to hit 100 though. There really wasnt much more to get out of it at that point. These ea82s don't seem to breathe well above 5500rpms. They car has seen that speed a handful more times since then. I once thought it was on its last legs and drive it 240 miles at or above 85mph for three and a half hours. That's 3 1/2 hours of 4500+ rpms. That's why I always try to reassure people asking about the high revs of a 3at at highway speeds; trust me, it will be fine. Timing belts and all associated parts should be in good shape though. I've also reached 105 mph in my stock carb GL in high altitude driving Arizona with ambient 100 temps. It was gasping as well but more so because of the thin air. Sorry to jack your thread, I now return it! I hope that tick stays away. A replacement pump and seal has fixed it for me, twice!
  4. With the 3.7 5 speed 65 is 3k. With the 3.9 it was around 2900. My girlfriend's Loyale is an automatic as well, and I've hit 100mph in it. It was turning 5900rpms there.
  5. "70mph @4100rpms" Gotta love that 3 speed auto! :-)
  6. Maybe the springs aren't seated properly and are jumping around a bit.
  7. Kudos for your persistence. Knocking things off the list little by little. I feel you on the day off because of the sleet and rain. I have to swap some tires around due to a blowout that happened on my way to Pennsylvania to see family where I am now but that's exactly what the day is like outside here as well. Unfortunately I'm leaving tomorrow so I gotta do it lol. Best of luck with the rest of the work. Get some kerosene in that heater, stay warm and dry!
  8. Try loosening the adjustment a little more. The more you loosen it the closer to the floor the pedal will engage.
  9. You want to loosen it. Tightening it will make the clutch engage higher. Be careful with the pedal now that you've tightened it, you may have tightened it too far and you run the risk of cracking and bending the fork. Ask me how I know. :-(
  10. It's fuel injected? Did you put a new fuel filter yet? If not it is located right at the drivers side strut tower. Maybe your fuel filter is clogged.
  11. Amen on those blind spots. Trying to turn on to 7th Ave here with thousands of people crossing the street at noon is not fun. It is a comfortable truck though, for me at least, though I'm pretty short. I can't say enough about the motor though. It's very anemic, especially with the ac running, but it's very smooth.
  12. Ha! I drive an Heritage High Roof for work! It's a cargo version though, no seats in the back, no windows on the sides. I hate it. Runs fantastic, but I just don't like it at all. Best of luck with the test runs!
  13. I'd say the other way around. Could see the brat go for 6k +. That wagon to, however, I mean aside from being a rare color, if that's a factory color, and being exceptionally clean and low mileage, that price is way way too high. I'd price it at 4,750 obo.
  14. Wow, sound like you've been busy! Best of luck with the drive shaft, I have to service mine soon as it's begun intermittently squeaking. Amazing with the laundry list of incorrect parts! I feel for you, now I know it doesn't just happen to me!!
  15. Might want to try and return them. More trouble than its worth and the chance of screwing it up and winding up with four very large paper weights is high.
  16. Parts.Subaru.com If I remember correctly it doesn't list an 85 Rx so you'll have to either look for a gl or something.
  17. The want is strong with this one. Also, I need that rear diff!!!! urhg
  18. From what I understood when I installed the relay trick myself, it's not necessarily a dead spot. It's more of a weak signal. That weak signal isn't strong enough to engage the starter, but it is strong enough to engage the relay you would install which then takes care of the starter itself.
  19. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/149308-no-start-issues-for-1990-loyale-resolved-added-starter-relay/?fromsearch=1 That link leads to good information, as well as the one I have linked within it.
  20. I grabbed mine off a Ford Tempo. You can use any vac solenoid really. Pick a car, find the egr valve. Trace the vac line and when it gets to something with wires connected to it, that's your solenoid. Can always take a peek at the vac diagram under the hood too, if it's still there.
  21. They kinda look like the knockouts in the body for draining water in the event you choose to drive through lakes with your Subaru.
  22. Actually it's most likely the ignition switch contacts. Next time it just clicks, after making certain the shifter is definitely in park, try the ignition repeatedly. Just keep jogging it from off to start a few times and see if it finally starts. It's most likely the switch though and is a relatively common issue. If you search back in this forum a bit there's a thread with easy instructions on how to bypass the ignitions relay with a new one that resolves the problem entirely. I've done it myself to my girlfriend's Loyale and it's 100 percent fixed. And that was after a new battery and a new starter not fixing it.
  23. Subaru still has all parts and diagrams for these transmissions on its Subaru parts web site. Might want to check that out. You can still even but a whole brand new transmission, but it'll set you back about 1800 if I remember correctly lol
