  1. ever since I put my hood scoop on my car has been running cooler, and normaly this wouldn't be a concern but its at like 1/4 on the gauge(stock gauge). is this too cool? I can't get it to warm up farther than that either. I'm thinking about putting a 195 thremostat in it, it curently has a 180 in it.

  5. I didn't really do any math, I just guessed as I thought when in low it was 4.11s. and yes it is like a 6spd if you drive it like that
  6. that sounds cool, and it means that when in low (if it is the same as a reg RX box) the gear ratio is like 4.44
  7. ^ just to add why would he think the pistons wouldn't turn if the timing belt snapped
  8. dude I just noticed you were in the US, Colorado to be exact. just another reason to go there I guess that way I can see if it really does have 4:11s in it. did you say you still had the low range too?
  9. eh, if I had four I'd prolly think differently about it. but I still say it would be easier to get a buddy to get into the import biz and get some D/R EJ trannys over here.

  11. but here is myh thoughts on that. if you want AWD and all of its glory just get the EJ box. RX boxes are kinda rare (for me atleast), and the EJ box is better.
  12. whats your VIN number? I'd put money on it being a 56B chassis.
  13. you could try this take two peices of flat plate, and a peice of flat stock and cut the sides and bottom out of what you made already. and weld them on there. do you understand what I just wrote, cause I'm not sure I do. but I'll try to explain it further if you don't get what I'm saying
  14. NO! turbos are 3.7 and autos can be either 3.9 or 3.7

  18. so umm you guys know that ring that goes around the stub (which BTW I thought was part of the axle but is if fact NOT) lets say that loosens up when you take the hub/rotor off, and lets the stub wiggle, causing one to think the wheel bearings are bad. but when one pushes the ring (a collar I'm guessing?) it tightens everything right up. I think that just happened
