  1. dude you've got the SPFI/turbo/carb'ed think backwards. its Turbo on carb'ed block, where as some think the SPFI comp is too high.
  2. so they should have designed it for stupid drivers who don't know how to launch and shift properly in a AWD?
  3. THEY DIDN'T!!!!!!!!! the 0-60 it a selling point of EVERY SPORTS CAR.... hell every car really, but they did not focus on that ONE point. THAT IS ALL!!!!!
  4. (must resist the urge to flame...............aghhhhhhhhh...............stupidity abounds..................................) if you think that Subaru it selling the WRX as a drag car then fine, go ahead and think that. but don't argue the retarded conclusion on the interweb, please. and the WRX tranny is not weak, its all from the drivers doing stupid stuff like this, I mean drop the clutch in any car that has the grip of AWD and see what happens. (ps DIAFT)
  5. but he has at least some go.......when its running. j/k I think its a good idea, I plan on doing it when I get the Rotary RX running. not sure yet but something to tell car guys thats its a rotary (besides the exhaust anyways)
  6. wow its like WJM's "300 hp" thread all over agian. why can't people just let others with different views be? I mean its not like he's building and is going to force you to drive it. I also think a frame is a bad idea, but do what you want to do. I would just build a new rear sub-frame for the 4 link, well if I was going to build a brat for the street anyways. but like I said do what you want to do, and don't let these "haters" get you down.
  7. on the 2WD turbo wagon issue, WJM's wagon was a 2WD.
  8. we can get a clutchmasters clutch kit, I can't find the link right now but they're there. also PACEO(sp) can build us a performance clutch for something like 378, so there's an option too.
  9. how do you know which ones are good?
  10. does anybody have the link for the fix then? I can't seem to find it by searching.
  11. on my 88 RX it only works on high(or fan speed 4) and even then its kind of weak. Is this the fan resistor thing?
  12. ^ that guy left before he got done with it, he was swaping over every thing aswell(like interior, dash stuff like that)
  13. dude thats wrong, just for starters the US never got a EA-81 RX, there WAS an EA-81T, oh and I'd be willing to bet they make alot more torque than 50-60. mines nimble(not fast but not really slow either) and its stock. Hp is right on, as are the measarements. oh and the EA-81 never had a timing belt. didn't read all of it, just speed read(or what every you call it I'm tired right now and can't really think:) ) and Bob (I assume you are the person I sent over from the Grassroots message board) did you search yet? there's a lot (all) of your questions awnsered, right there. and check out Ram performence, and sub4 there do the airplane stuffs with them.
  14. they were on the old board, I think. but they got run off for some stpid reason
  15. thats what I'm talking about. do you have any pics?
  16. ya but if you notice the belt failure came from a rag that was under the hood and not the weeds, mud, and whatever else he was going thru.
  17. a full fuel/spark controler is what I'm talking about. (I got the name from an anime called Initial D, I thought it was funny at the time about year or so ago. and I'm just to lazy to think of something top change it to)
  18. sorry I should have made that clearier, I meant him.
  19. why not just go ahead and go to a stand alone?
  20. thats fine I just wondered if you had a ninja way of doing it. how strong is the spring?
  21. ok I edited mt first post so you guys know what I'm talking about. so the GA16 maf has the same bolt pattern on it, I thought it was a nissan one but I was thinking it was SR20. thanks
