  1. do you'll think ALL auto-equpipped turbo rads are the same?
  2. its a Dellotro 40 DHLA. that looks awesome! good work and you should get some vids up with the car(as long as we can hear the car I'd be happy)
  3. I'm running a manual gauge
  4. that's awesome you should get some vids and sound caps of it up. I bet it sounds so cool with that carb and exhaust on it. do you plan on getting it dyno'ed?
  5. did the die come out of the intake or exhaust? if not I don't think its the lifters, coz they would hold the valves and the die would come out of the intake/exhaust, right (I know you asked for educated guesses and these are not educated guesses)
  6. so you did a comp test and it came up bad? and then you tore apart the engine back apart to try to fix it, correct? I'd guess the numbers you said wouldn't hurt the comp test that bad. so I would say you had something with the lifters. and are you sure the timing belt were timed right? I messed them up on my GL-10 when I put it back together so that another possibility.
  7. EA-81's have one built in to the rad, just fill it up to the little plate and the empty space bewteen that and the cap seves has a overflow tank.
  8. no its not a keeper as a matter of fact you should send it to me just so I can "get rid of it" for you J/K looks good to me
  9. see it would be funand even Doc RX agrees with me about the Chevy thing
  10. do it Will! I've been thinking about doing this for awhile but I would use a soild rear axle, with leaf springs(cause its simple) and I think that would be so cool (worthless on anything other than a drag strip but it would be fun) edit oh ya I would use a chevy engine/trans combo if I had a choice in the matter.
  11. I meant if teh engine was an 84 its has solid lifters , unless its an auto.
  12. if its an 84 engine its has solid lifters, unless its an auto
  13. I like the rims, and I think you should go up in size. how much I'm not sure but a little atleast it looks odd with the fender gap
  14. Man, I wish you lived close to me thats the carb my rotary RX(well mines a 48 but same thing really) uses, and its kind of intimidating me. you seem to have a but of experince with them so let me ask you this should I swap over to a weber dcoe,(I think thats what it is, its the side-draft weber) which I feel a bit more confident with or keep the dellotro(which I might have to rebuild and I'm going to have to re-jet)? sorry for "hijacking" your thread and you can reply either thru PM or email at justin_shahan@hotmail.com if you want too
  15. no thanks Will, right now I'm jobless (thou I think I'm going to have to get one one day ((the cabinet)) )
  16. where did you get that at? I love it!
  17. you can't use the turbo one with out the rear diff too, the n/a's gear ratio is 3.90 and the turbo's is 3.70
  18. Me too (or would that be three) I've always hated when people referred to all Japanese cars as "ricers".
  19. how do you guys pull the axles?
  20. ok, I'm sending you the one from "the rotary RX" any info you need besides the VIN?
  21. whats wrong with the engine and turbo thats in it now? if you have to replace teh engine anyways I would juist build another turbo and keep it stock, should be reilable
  22. are you putting the radiator in the back? I was thinking about doing this with my RX and was worried about how well it would work, so please let me know how well it works
  23. about 300 HP with some sitckers (j/k) I'd say 130-150 atleast
