  1. ok, my clutch pedal sticks bout an inch or so from being fully up. what would cause this? and on to the odd sound. This morning I'm going down the road, and start hearing this turbo sound(whrrr ok so maybe a sick turbo. but a turbo sound none the less) I was in third about to shift to fourth. It didn't do it agian until I was driving to get gas this evening so I'm thinking it cold related. (sorry for the long post)
  2. could you get the flywheel re-drilled to fit the XT-6 PP or it the plate to big for the flywheel?

  5. so you're putting a turbo 5 speed in an EA-81? I'm looking at doing this with the RX tranny in my hatchback would one of your kits help me any?

  8. ok so heres my list so I can start shopping and one more question will jerry's kit help me here? tranny, rear diff 25 spline EA-81 axles (from cvaxles.com unless I score on the board) ok two more questions can I get my flywheel re-drilled for the EA-82t PP? that way keep my TDC marking and stuff?
  9. ya its red, right? I've allready tried that one and he really never got back to me on it so I said screw it. besides I'm looking at this RX now anyways
  10. ok thats what I thought that turbo EA-82's were 25 and the others were 23. I was just a bit confused and the reason I want 3.9 gears is cause I don't think I'm going to turbo this until I go to the EJ series engines and wanted to keep my accl. the same
  11. its an on-off(not like what you guys do up there just dirt roads, my yard stuff like that) road car possibly turned in to a rally car later on in its life. I want FT4WD but want to be able to lock the diff and I want the low range which is why I want an RX tranny. so the EA-81T's or other wise had 25 splines and the RX tranny has 23, right?
  12. tell me more about this ea-82 control arm swap that might be the ticket so I can use the 5-lug wheels too and do ya'll think it would be possable to switch the the RX tranny to 3.9?
  13. ok, I want to put the RX tranny in my hatch. but what all do I need I'll make a list and you guys can see if I'm missing anything flywheel and clutch parts the tranny itself what axles do I use? the linkages and stuff the drive shaft (I'm going to get a one piece one made up)
  14. ya I had some sleepless nights dealing with this
  15. (if anybody remembers anyway) I put the new thermostat in and all's fixed run's half way up on the gauge and no over heating sat in traffic for 15 min after she got to the half way mark and she got lower when the fan kick on. so the old thermostat was the problem but it wasn't stuck open cause it was closed when I pulled it out. I think it just didn't work right. and the new one is 180 too

  17. well on the west coast they have the RX's but not the RS's and Skip your is far from "plan jane" and call me justin jw just sounds too old for me and we should get back on topic wait what was the topic agian?

  19. on my 87 GL-10 I've done the timing belts with the rad in place
  20. why does it seem that everybody (on the east cost) who has an RX or a mod turbo also has either an RS or a WRX
  21. well if it sticks open I'll have the same problem I have now and if it sticks closed it will over heat and thats not a good thing, right? thats the only reason I would drill a whole in it so there as some kind of AF moving thru the system
