  1. hehe this was far easier. i pulled them at 9 am today. everything was burned off. ill clean one off and take a pic. like i said it got a little bit of hard water staining.
  2. you need VLC media player With unprecedented access, Engineering the World Rally gets under the skin of the Subaru WRC team during the 2006 season. The six-part series follows their every move as they engineer and prepare the cars for each event, test and shakedown. Enjoy the highs and suffer the lows of each three-day rally. It is an emotional rollercoaster of action both behind-the-scenes and on the rally stage. http://lolinter.net/EWR01x01.mkv http://lolinter.net/EWR01x02.avi Episode Three: Argentina… The Big Shake-Up http://lolinter.net/EWR01x03.mkv http://lolinter.net/EWR01x04.mkv Episode Five: Japan… Under Pressure http://lolinter.net/EWR01x05.avi so, enjoy.
  3. so he hooked up a guage already? did it read anything out of the ordinary when it was acting up?
  4. ej swap is far superior for the dollar. maybe an ej205? honestly my car would be faster if it just had a close ratio transmission. freaking wind out the thing in first and it about lugs in 2nd its such a huge rpm diffrence. if i added more power that problem wouldnt go away.
  5. carb rebuild time imo. is ther a fuel pressure guage he could hook up to it and see whats going on when its acting up?
  6. well you can spend a lot of time and money on it but it will always be a compromised ride. id be happy if it was running right with no leaks, thats a step ahead of my car
  7. classifides here. pm "the sucker king" he has a set to sell too.
  8. ive been wanting some wheels for my subaru and wanted something modern looking, so i want my new wheels bronze powdercoated. Despite my efforts i could not sandblast the factory coating off. First I tried a Media blaster at 40 psi. after an hour i gave up on that having taken almost none off, but they got really clean! then i tried a sandblaster, and it was about the same. i tried another one, but with new sand, and it was a little better but no where near productive. so i threw them in heat treat. should i quench them? it will leave undesireable hard water staining. but harder is better right? i may get these up to T4 or 5 if i do. how i loaded them for heat treating they dont look that bad! the heat treat temp for allumimum (its set at 985°
  9. i think it will pass if you use plenty of alochol in the fuel.
  10. you should get a Gtech http://cgi.ebay.com/Gtech-Performance-Meter-Pro-G-tech-accelerometer-used_W0QQitemZ130099020462QQihZ003QQcategoryZ46100QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  11. move a trailer yes, tow it no. you need to be able to control the trailer on other aspects. like stopping, and what happens when it starts weaving behind you at speed?
  12. also be sure to check the sight glass for bubbles. they should be very tiny if the charge is right
  13. thats a NICE legacy! take good care of it
  14. mines nothing special, but i might get this standard engine rebuilt by me (pics in my folder), new suspension that im doing over again. getting some goodies soon
  15. link to what? im not posting any writeup until this is all done. they are one unit and about the same as oem. imo the rebound damping in them is a lil soft. i wish they had the same valving as the bilsteins in my jeep, well maybe that would be overkill. but i think the gr2 are emulsion and the jeep has monotube.
  16. just trying to use with the gr2 struts. it appears i need to make a sleeve because they are a bigger diameter bore, and they came with a sleeve that was threaded, but for a diffrent set up.
  17. tein is apparantly one of the cheaper one i paid ful retail of about $150 for the pair. steering bushings are overpriced at 30. imo should be 1/10 that. for my loyale
