drilling hub to 6 lug
ontherun987 replied to ontherun987's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
I have read it, but it doesn't say any thing about tire size and weather I have to cut the fenders. -
I have been thinking about drilling my hubs to 6 lug, what wheel and tire size do I need? I have a four inch lift, do I have to cut the fenders? Thanks

I jumped the gun and order the leds before I read the whole write up. I think it turn out good enough not to order new leds, I might if I have reason to rip my dash out again.

Any way to bring back the blue color ? Do I need to replace the whole thing, I can't get the buttons to stay on. How do I fix the bumper sag? Do I loosen it, then jack it up and tighten it back down. Do these just come off with the screws on the top? Sand and spay? Thanks for taking a look:headbang:

Well I got it on amazon here $3.67 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005J3BPCK/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00&tag=ywis-20 But I found a 5 pack on ebay here, These seem to be slightly larger. $14.45 http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-pcs-Light-Panel-36-SMD-LED-Cool-White-Interior-Bulb-T10-BA9S-Adapters-/120876092475?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1c24c6cc3b&vxp=mtr

Adding a led panel to my dome light. It was under $5, so I think it was worth it. http://youtu.be/8Wz5F2EQy8w

What did you use to remove the rust.... angle grinder or like sand paper, I have the same leek and rust in the windshield well -
Take it slow and use a camera, I did my first rebuild on my hitchi carb. It's not as bad as it sounds, however I would not touch the electronics. spit and replace gaskets and parts, I still haven't got my choke adjusted correctly:mad:
