  1. Dont know how I managed to READ your message and not reply to it... SMH haha.

Uhmm going back to Peugeot wheels most likely... sick of steelies. Have Jackmans but not big on them anymore... too many people think they are wagon wheels.

HIDs went out... so Im running stock bulbs. 12" Subwoofer in the back now. Needs new wheels/tires and a lowering job... too much wheel gap since he never goes off-road haha.

How you been? Hows the wagon treatin ya?

  2. hey how much u want for the lifted wagon

  3. 520 895 2652 thanks again man. I've been progressing, but slowly as i figure things out haha

  4. Actually I'm on leave for the next week. So anytime this week would be awesome. The earlier the better so I have more days off to dedicate to it. I think the major issue right now is my 4wd lever popping up when i shift gears. I got some calipers from the junkyard and they are fine, so that issue is fixed. I also got a rear drive shaft put in that doesn't have a mangled center mounting bracket. I'll shoot you my number and you can call or text anytime.
  5. Sorry if it seems like I am asking for advice and rejecting it lol finally got around to buying a one man brake bleeder... back brakes still wouldn't bleed. I took the line out of the caliper and fluid was flowing... time for a new caliper. Going to look for a serviceable one in the junkyard tomorrow. When looking online I only see front calipers. Are they the same as the rear and only list the front or are the rears not manufactured anymore or something I am missing??
  6. Hey, just stoppin in to say what's up. I'm a few months behind you in the soob game. I figured you're close and going through a bit of the same stuff i'm about to be going through, so you'd be a good connection.

  7. I tried it just now and it doesn't seem to be possible with the exhaust pipe right there. I believe whoever lifted it put longer bolts and pipe spacers to correct it. There is a slight angle of the middle section, but nothing ridiculous. I really think it's just because it's on pavement when it pops into 4wd. The brakes are my real concern because then I will dare to take it somewhere I can test that theory. Going to rebleed them once I find an assistant.
  8. I think your thread about that was what made,me go check it out. It's a 4" lift. I'm also having issues with the brakes not holding pressure and the rear ones won't bleed. Any more insight?
  9. I think it's just the 4wd binding up cuz it pops out of fwd when I shift gears and it's on pavement. Didn't notice it until messing with it last night. Think I might have to drop the exhaust a bit. The clunking went away in fwd too. There are no marks on the pipe, but looking at it it looks like the connecting points on the shaft would hit it if it were spinning. Easy fixes I guess haha just had to diagnose it. Who knows what else I'm missing though haha
  10. Hey guys. I just got an 86 GL-10 that I'm trying to straighten out a bit. It's got a screwed up lift on it and can hardly move out of the parking spot. It's got some potential, but I am kind of learning as I go about working on it/cars in general. If anyone in the area would like to just take a look at it and give me some advice, it'd be greatly appreciated. A friend and I have changed a steering knuckle, but don't know exactly what the major issue is, as neither of us has much experience. I'm not expecting a free mechanic to come and make this thing perfect or to spend days helping me, but I do provide pizza and beer, and would like to put in most of the wrench time anyway. Thanks, Josh
  11. Well i just replaced a steering knuckle because we couldn't budge the bearings on the one that we pulled, even with the press. Been working with a buddy who has a little more knowledge than I do, but not a ton, so we ran into a lot of pains in the rump roast. Still not driving well, think something is screwy in the drive train and definitely need to put a legit lift on it. the camber on the front and the back is all ************. Definitely need new tires though. Would like to eventually do the EJ swap, but I'm learning as I go. Hoping to bait a knowledgable member from here to come take a look for me and give me some advice. We'll see how friendly they are around here lol glad to hear you got a job, man. I'm going to apply to autozone soon so i can hopefully get my tool arsenal built up for cheap. Growing pretty quick so far. What kinda mods are you puttin into Ned?

  12. Hopefully you can appeal it, that would really suck!! Glad youre home safe though bud.

Pretty good, still working on modding Ned, finally got a job, so hopefully things start to click in the modding department :)

What are your plans for the GL?

  13. soooo. while i was deployed the beast got towed... stupid rump roast csm. fool got me $2000 in impound fees i am trying to appeal right now :/ i ain't payin it, but hopefully i can get it off my credit. i did just buy an 86 GL 10 that's got some potential once i get a place i can work on it. my apts don't appreciate me tinkering in the parking lot, almost got this one towed today because i ran to the store with it on a jack stand lol how's life been, man?

  14. Sounds good! I should have some peugeots someday, Im hoping its not too long before I have the funds for some.

Let me know when you come down, well have to go chill and figure something out down here!

  15. definite bummer haha i do know where a good chunk of my deployment money will be going in about 6 months though! i'll have to take a spin back down that way when i get back and hit you up, and make another attempt to meet the roloffs hahaha
