  1. This is a great one for you! Pretty cheap too. Surprisingly enough you can find them at homedepot!
  2. we can get the slip yokes ones for around$ ea. I might be getting pair for the front for my forester as im going much larger king springs and 1" spacers today. lets see how my current axles hold up. As far as there non slip yoke my buddy at the shop is i think buying a pair for the front of his 90 loyale. he just put 2 brand new ones from autozone and there already clicking. Ill keep you posted are you talking about the slip yoke ones? Because unless there diffrent than the 93 legs, thats what im running on my 00 forester right now. most of these axels are all interchangeable. Might have to pop the tone ring off though.
  3. Sf forester struts, raised king springs and a 1" spacer lift. This will give you more advantage than a normal lift kit. Better springs is the key.
  4. hahah! yeah im down to 4 now... Sold my wife's 93 loyal the other day.. sad to see it go...
  5. Left side is ej right side is ea. I made a sleeve an welded them together. That's the best you can do without spending 200$ for custom set. https://fbcdn-photos-a-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/t1.0-0/554931_4975232497621_859111450_n.jpg This image should work...
  6. Droooooooool........ Wow... With I had the time to do this to my 69.... Looks amazing!
  7. http://www.infernofab.com/ Has really good adaptor plates
  8. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/122949-1988-subaru-turbo-gl-ej22-and-4-lift-plus-6lug-swap-build/ And loyale is bone stock. Trying to find her a good home.
  9. Haha here's my build. It's been a little while since I've updated it. And been about a year since I started working on it agin. Got her to my new house in Sandy a couple weeks ago. Just finishing up the exhaust, full brake job done. She's been gon through that's for sure. Haha! That's so true! Which is sad but very true! I love the older Gl's wagon and hatch. If only I had enough room and my wife would let me get another haha. I like the power of the newer Subarus and the body of the oldies. I think I'll have to build something like Nico aventualy. Haha. I love my 00 forester though got stuck in the snow way many times pushing her kept goin until we saw snow mobilers. Thought I was nuts. Haha. See how this xt turns out. If anything I can always flip her and make a little extra $$
  10. Haha i know its crazy! When i showed it to my wife she thought i was crazy. She still does haha. Well the 2 FXTs, 00 Forester, 93 loyale im trying to sell, and my 88 ej'd lifted GL im still building, and my non subi 69 chevy pickup. my drive way, garage and almost the entire street has Subarus on it haha.
  11. clogged banjo filterminor upgrades
  12. This is my other one. There almost identical, just tinted windows on this one. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/143970-my-new-ride-04-fxt/
  13. Hi my names Patrick, and im addicted to Subaru. Strolling around on CL last weekend i came across ANOTHER 04 Foerster XT, well he wanted 5k for it and i got it for 3k. Blown turbo but still drove home from Gresham! Im thinking Lifting king springs and minor upgrades for now This is Two 04 FXT's in less than 3 months that ive bought! I currently have 5 Subaru's haha
  14. They must be different.. I just saw this post today. I orderd a pair from amazon acdelco said they'd fit my 88... But they are taller by about .25".. Not happy
  15. Hammer wd40 and pry bar. On the back side the bolt is exposed to weather and dirt and grime gets caught in the rubber. Give it some love haha Prwa
  16. Not cool... That white wagon was a swap and swaps take time for a shop to do it. Rick didn't feel comfortable sending it to you half done up and have it crap out on the way there. We're a growing shop and at the time my knowledge was limited at the ej swap stuff, thus is why I needed Rick to help, then when i did start to fix it, it wasnt fast enough. but with many other Riggs needed fixed it was on the back burnner just like mikes car. And as far as mikes old car, if only you knew the mess it was. We had to tare the old harness out because it was such a mess. Truthfully the only thing it'd be good for is drivin into the dump. It's hard to get motivated to polish a turd. I personably am sorry it took so long to try and get that car finished.. But on the bright side looks like you did pretty well for yourself. One reason why I'd take his harness at my house and do it on my time. Prwa
  17. Yeah I live in sandy and pretty much what he said^. I over hear GD on the phone today talking to someone about a ej harness. So I'm going to assume this would be you? Haha. And our shop is in Milwaukee. Superior Soobie and Import. We were actually just working on Mike Apeals old wagon today, the lifted blue one.... Wiring ej harness mess..... As far as the harness let me know if you want us to strip it for you, prolly could drop it off at my house because its closer than the shop. I live by the post office now. My parents live up on top of Colman rd. One of our guys can prolly redrill the flywheel. As far as the adaptor plate, what/who made it? Seems as though the sandy area lifted Subaru crowd is growing! Good to see it! Prwa
  18. BF? So im assuming Back and Front? The newer EJ style are stronger than the older EA which is much weaker. EA style come outa the box clicking sometimes. EJ die when a boot is tor, but the main application im looking at this new slip joint axle is lifting my forester with no sub frame drop. Stock Oem axles on my forester can handle around 2" of lift on the struts this would allow much more.
  19. 92276 is 90-01 my bad! Yeah that what i was hoping for i know there hundreds of people out there that eat through them like candy.. But i wonder how there new ea81 axles are! Once i finish my raised kingspring and 1" spacers on my forester im going to order some and test them out. i wanna know how much these things can really handle.
  20. So update on the axels, these are the only ones that have the slip yoke. So 2000+. But they do sell new normal axels that work for the older stuff. Price will be around $150 ea. still worth it! And if your swap your old stuff over to newer could be quite a machine! There the same number for each years. Regular HERI # Slip Yoke HERI # 92100 22100 92505 22505 92200 22200 92276 22276
  21. I know right! Not compleatly sure about the price, I heard they'd be around $95 each.. But that's what GD would buy them for, not sure about customer costs. I'll talk to him more tomarrow see what's up.
  22. Looking through there cattalog http://www.heriautomotive.com/pdf/buyers_guide.pdf they have brat axles 80-89!
  23. New axle Design, General Disorder was telling me about them the other day at the shop. If this is legit that's a huge increase in strength and lift capability! 50% over OEM. Oem can handle about 2" of sturt lift, this would mean itd Handel 3" with no sub frame drop! http://www.heriautomotive.com/marketing
