Wow!! That looks simulier to the on I drew up! They make them for Hondogs and toyotas. The one problem I came across with it is they'll set the rim/tire out 1/2". -PRWA AAE

Mock up in solid works, Subaru R160 Locker
Prwa101 replied to Prwa101's topic in Subaru Retrofitting
I've been thinking about that as well, the only thing though is the hubs, they would have to be re done, so the axel shaft/splines can spin inside it, untill you turn the lock locking them in. So I'd have to re design subaru hubs for the locking hub set up. And the rear would have to be disks, because doing drums would be a pain haha... Although, in this I could add 6 lug alike it should be haha. I'll see what I can do, I'll start some drawings -

may be off but hows your heater working? if your heater core goes out sometimes it will push water out the floor vents. ^^^^ it would also fog you windows up a lot.. could be a the window gasket leaking down the door by the hinge. Facebook links do work! You just need to right click and use "copy image location" and then put the URL into the yellow mountian button when you post! Really that's all Facebook is good for but pretty much what he said^^^ Welcome! Glad to see another Subaru lover in my area! -Prwa -
Need new bulb! Haha. ^^^^

Works pretty good too if you leave the tire on, while the weight of the car is on it and then up bolt it Looking good man! AAE

Nice guy! I'll look into it, and actually my woman lives in Monmouth and I'm down there pretty much every weekend so shipping won't be needed. It's been a while since I've updated, but I'm just about done with the first term in machining. Looking like I'm going to beable to make it my self stertin on the cnc machines next term. And I know CZNY was going to help me make it as well when he get up my way. if I get a shop built at home soon I have a lathe that I'm goin to put in it. Getting close! Gotta get it done before the next WCSS! Prwa AAE -

Droooooool........ Its like Christmas morning!!! Out with the old in with the new!!! MMMMMMMMMM......... 6 whole lugs oh yeah shes all done!!! disks all the way around! would have taken it for a drive... but i blew a power steering hose... one more thing! almost done! haha -
Sounds to me like you have bad HGs, and mileage wize my fiancés car has 230k on it and blew a hg I replaces it, still running great. 30mpg. she had water in her oil, so you must have blown between a water jet and exahst line. Pull the heads off and go from there, you could prolly get another 100k out of it you never know.
-
I'd pull the heads off and look at them, you may have a crack or blow HGs. Easy fix. You won't know untill you take it apart. Haha. What's you mileage in you cummins??
-
^^^ I agree with him, Ive never gotten over 35mpg and that was tops.. EJ22 It! so much more power!
-
Gorgeous! Looks like to going to have to take a stroll on up there one of these weekends.... Shes lookin amazing! -Prwa

Hmm typically if you put fuel down the carb or intake and it starts, means the fuel pump isn't pushing enough fuel. Can you hear it come on when you turn the key? How does the fuel filer look as well? -Prwa -

Oh my sweet Jesus!...... Just took her for a spin just around the block... I've never felt that much power... The tires could hardly get any tracking because it just wanted to go! It's scary fast! Even with the large tires! It wa fun untill the rear drum locked up agin... Looks like I need to find sole rear disks at the yard... :/
