Yeah though about that a couple years ago. But I'm not that kinda person. I don't ask for money. Lol. I just started my own business building Subaru lift kits. Starting to pick up so let's hope there room for this product to be put in to production. -

Haha USMB has been getting slow hard to access it. Anyways I have a full 3d PVC model of it. I got a quote for the first prototype. Cost to much for me At that time. Getting to a place where I should have the money for the first but who knows. As far as letting it out for people to use. Already had people ask. Answer is no lol I've got months of work into to let someone else with money produce it. Lot of this has already been discussed on this thread. Lol. Hopefully if I get this going and make a few they won't be as spendy as arb's. As far as other company's there looking for money. The r160 is a small fraction of the really market (Toyota, Nissan, Chevy ford.) They don't see the money in subarus. Metal printing is to brittle at this point right now. The metal needed to hold up aginst the forces in the rear diff is much much more that it can handle. Hold in there guys! I'll post up sometimes when I have the money to get one made up! -

Haha damn its been a while... More progress needs $$$$...... -
What size tire you trying to run agin? There is a 5x100 wheel out there that has a high offset but you'll still need spacer even with them... Really the wrorst thing about EJ Subaru struts.

Haha SSI will tell you to contact me, that's where I'm from lol.

Welcome to Usmb!! I'm out in sandy! Trying to get a whole crew of lifted scoobs together and find some trails out near hood. -
Mmmmmm I can't wait!!! Totally going to be worth the drive!!

Awesome man! Glad the word is getting around! haha. Yes i do, i typicly build a 2" for these as the axles take the pressure more better than any more lifting. After that the subframe needs spaceed and becomes a big job. You can email me at Adnfab@gmail.com

Holes are tapped to 3/8 I believe. Threaded studs and nuts. Bolt it to the engine first then bolt the engine/adapter to the the tranny.
-
These would be them! With the pitch stop you can offset it to adapt to these easy.

Lol you guys are funny, turned from this guys 10.5" lift on how to build a lift! yeah its maybe 6" lift incluting fozzy struts. The dude who owned it prior lived a couple blocks from my house. Personnly wasnt impressed.. With 31's on there he should have 13-14" at the rear diff or more lol. My buddys old EA82 wagon only 4" of lift is at 13.5" at the rear diff with 31's. Just my thought haha
-
I'm sure I could, but shopping for you would be spendy..
-
these are mine! Well his but mine haha they look diffrent now though. There 125 plus shipping now as material has gon up a lot sisnce then lol

Normal for sure, get her back togeather! The worst that could happen is you blow it up and in the mean time you get ready for a Ej swap

Hey there, So with you vehical The newer outback struts are taller but not my much. You can go up to about 2" in the front with maintaining the Reliability of the front CV's. When you begin you lift your vehical you will need a multilink spacer to help center the rear tires. the outbacks came with them hence the taller struts. If your looking for a lift still let me know. ive been building for the newer outbacks and forester. yet you have a Impraza done! lets do it!! Adnfab@gmail.com

The only way you'll clear that size of tire is to run a huge wheel spacer and offset wheels. Or do a lower strut lift. Offered by myself soon. Allows 5" larger tire than stock allows. And gives 2.5" of lift at half the cost. Or fork out 1200$ and buy a set of custom BC racing coil overs. (No spring perch to limit tire) and you can get about 4+" of lift out of the coil over. Personally for the money another 300$ is well worth it!

Yes sir I've been running them on my 00 for about a year now. It's running long springs and 1" spacer. 2.4" about. Now the only poblems. The first pair I got installed, one side the inner C clip failed and pulled out of my within a week. Got the new one within a couple days, have yet to have another problem. But I know another guy who's running my 2" lift and king springs and he's killed 3 or 4 of these. 2 c clip failures and 2 complete frags. Now this could be because he's way over the 50% over stock. He's at 3.4" with no subframe spacers. That a lot of lift for sure. My own rating on them is 9/10 fantastic replacement as long as they don't have the c clip fail they should last a while with a desent lift (3" and under). Have about a year on them and now problems since I got the new one.
