I give my thumbs up or this one!

The forester struts are a direct bolt on for your lift set up. Now if you wanting more than the 1-1.5" of lift that it will give you i would go with a 2" lift on top of that. It though will require you to have the forester sub frame spacers/trailing arms/brackets or a proper trailing arm spacer. you can clear with the 06 struts a 215/70/16 easy. so the 15's all day. but the 235's is a challenge, either offset wheels and spacers, or a lower strut lift bracket and wheel spacers. best to lift with Forester struts FIRST than lift with a lift. You gain larger tires clearance due to the higher spring perch and a better ride. My contacts are below, if you have any questions feel free to email me! Patrick

Make sure your terminals are clean on your battery

Best solution is forester or outback struts then lift on top of that. That gives you about 1.5-2". They have a taller spring perch allowing larger tires also. And I build lifts, my contacts are below Patrick

The 00 forester spring are a higher rating than the 04 are. Read on primitives site, 1.4" compared to 1.1" of lift. 00 to 04. Oh and go onto kybs web site and look for a rebate. They have a 40$ off right now. Works with amazon orders too. I did the same thing last year.

youd have to swap out the stubs in the tranns... Not worth it lol.

Haven't seen anyone try Heri Automotives after market axels yet. I'm running there Forester heavy duty axels and haven't had a problem so far. About a year onthem. Advanced automotive on line had them for just about every Subaru b

yes youll only gain larger tire, and lose an inch of travel. Personally, ive ran king spring for years and from what ive experienced, You love down travle of the strut as its a stiffer spring and is closer to being fully extended. The best and cheapest is lifting it 2" with stock suspension/new suspension. I build them for a living, and the places you can go with even a 2" lift and larger tires is unbelievable. Facebook.com/adnfab But i would suggest buying new KYB;s on amazon, there the cheapest ive seen anywhere even with shop discounts. Justsuspention is the company on there, free shipping too

This is my theory on this, SF is 98-02 SG is 03-08. The SF is the one in the left and the SG is the one on the right in the photo. The SG may be able to run an inch larger tire BUT are in fact about an inch shorter than the SF struts. Reason Why people see a difference when they swap these struts is because there current SF struts are shop and anything would be better than a shot strut. As far as the rear top hats being diffrent and needing to beable to swap them out. There only a little diffrent but the bolt patter is the same. so i dont see why it would make a difference. If your wanting lift and the ability to run larger tires (larger than the perch allows you) Lower lift brakets would fix that.

Won't need them. The green and yellow Are the only ones you'll need for a 22 swap.
-
If its only a 2" top spacer no no need to make any changes. If you start lowering the subframe minor changes will need. With my 1.5" drop the 90-94 legacey steering knuckle bolt right up. and very few ive seen needed to mess with the shift linkage.

You budget matters the most on how high you want it. I build them, Facebook.com/adnfab take a look at photos I have 2" and 4" on several cars.
-
The main Trailing arm bar right below your "move it" arrow. if you were to lower that then it would center the tires bun then you'd love 2" of Clarence. On my 4" kits i lower it 2" to center the tire better. What kit are you going with?

Im not done with them yet still testing them out. Its been done before many times, i know theyll work just for my own sake. I do have pictures of them installed but i cant share them yet. lol Ive been runnning mine at 2.5" for atleast 2.5years now and havent seen a axle go bad. Theres misconception between the EA and the EJ axels which some people mix up. 2" is a good anlge to have your axels at. i have many 2" kits on the road and havnt hear of one problem with boots or the axel going bad. If you run thouse Heri axels you can run that set up without a subframe drop lol. I built a 98 near me thats on a 2" lift spacer and king springs 3.4" total and its doing great. but yeah 1.5" isnt that bad. although near me .5" of clearence is the breaking point from stuck to not stuck. lol. Well my entire plate is offset and i cant share my design secrets haha.

Id go 2/4, forester axels can handle the stress. On top of the newer Heri autmotive HP axels can handle 3.4" of stress. 120 a pop though. Look at my Black 04 FXT, Facebook.com/adnfab Thats a 2" sub frame spacer, 2" top and 2.5" lower Mammoth bracket. Shes a beast and i have the ability if needed to run up to 31's due to the lower lift brackets. Patrick

My 4" loweres everything in the rear 2" to center the tires better in the wheel well and so its not so hard to install the 4" brackets lol. Looking good though man!!

Yes. Look for numbchux ea-ej conversion write up on it. Many swaps have been done before
