  1. She runs nice, now it's back to body work.

  2. It runs nicely with a new ECU. Any one repair ECU's? I would like to fix the first one and put it back in.
  3. All 7 grounds test out ok, The fuel pump wiring is fine, I'm replacing the ECU. Found one for 35 bucks.
  4. You are right I changed the Air Flow meter for a painful 220, only to get a code 13 witch is the crank angle sencer or some ignition switch problem. My book has gone missing.
  5. Oh the height control works, but not the control part...
  6. I have gotten the codes out of the ECM and it pulled a code 14 that in a XT GL10 turbo is the Air flow meter. In the TBI, and the N/A MPFI it's a fuel injection problem. I conformed that the AFS is bad using a voltage test, and a resistance test. Thank you all for your help, I am not out in the clear yet as well as it may be a week until I get it the Air flow meter in the mail. This may be only part of the problem. The Ignition still needs work, though that might be for a new thread.
  7. The ignition Relay is working find I tested it with both a Volts ohms meeter and buy running the car on a bye pass to the fuel pump. I will check the ECM pins for the ground and the ignition imputt.
  8. Their is power to the relay (hot red wire), the relay is not being activated nether is the ground from the fuel pump to the ECM (black wire in a gray casing). Is there a signal from the Airflow-meter in these cars to call the ECM to switch on the fuel pump? And how can I test it?
  9. Update. There is power at the yellow wire, from the coil. What calls for more fuel? the pump has no voltage thanks to the ECM. It is not sensing the need for fuel. How on a Subaru dos the EMS do this? On a camaro its the MAP sensor.
  10. How can I get to the ECM, too test the wires for any brakes or a pinchs? How can I test the ECM? I know the fuel pump works, the fead wire is solid, the relay is working, but no power, or a signal from the ECM. the Igniton is working. the is no ground signal as well.
  11. I got the fuel relay, the relay is working. The computer test good but still no fuel, and no power coming to the fuel pump. I can't seem to find how the computer is aware of the need for fuel? I'm thinking it's a sensor, air, crank, or throtle.
  12. I have the center console lose, I would take it out but the cable for the fan control is still attached, the fan control won't come out and I can't find a good diagram of it. Blue wire to the fuel pump is led me to the center of the dash...
  13. Yes all fuses are good I put in all new fusible links. Thank you for the reminder though.
  14. I used a computer safe test light with a good ground off of the blue wire to the clean built on the body and no juice. No voltage at all when my friend turned the key to on or start. How do I get the radio out with out taking the hole dash out there are four screws I can't get to?
  15. I tested the fuel pump using a 12 battery and it and the engine run fine, I have traced the wire to the passeger side dash panel then to the center of the dash thanks for letting me know I'm looking in the right place . I'll pull the radio when it stops raining in PA.
  16. Where is the relay, It's not ware the books told me to look?
  17. I am looking for information on a 86 XT with a EA82t, a repair manual of sorts? I'm having fuel issues.

  18. Looking for a service Manual for a 86 XT GL10. It sat for three years before I bout it, now it won't start, it has new plugs (put them in yesterday), a good ignition system, and it's having fuel issues, any thoughts? The old gas is out of the car new regular 87 is in it.

  19. I am having the same issue I can't get my XT to start it is a GT-10. It will run on Cleaner until the vapers run out I need to know the fuel injectors specs. I have fuel and spark yet it's not runing, and the belts are fine. I had the same problem with a 91 camaro and It had bad injectors, could this be it? The car ran in 2007 and was parked for three years and a few months.
